Modell: Das Xiaomi Mi 5 ist ein preisgünstiges, hochwertig aussehendes Smartphone. Mit seiner Glas-Oberfläche, dem Ganz-Metall-Rahmen mit sandgestrahlter Oberfläche und einem 3D-Glas aus Corning Gorilla Glas 4 verfügt es über das Aussehen, die Konstruktion und die Anmutung eines erstklassigen Phones. Die metallischen, abgerundeten Kanten sind nicht rutschig und bei Verwendung ergonomisch. Das stark glänzende Smartphone sammelt häufig Fingerabdrücke und Schmutz. Es läuft unter der MIUI 7 Benutzeroberfläche auf Android 6.0 Marshmallow und wird entweder durch einen 1,8 GHz oder einen 2,15 GHz Snapdragon 820 Prozessor und 3 GB RAM angetrieben. Zudem kann zwischen 32 GB und 64 GB Flashspeicher gewählt werden.

Zum 5,15 Zoll großen Full-HD-IPS-Bildschirm gibt es nicht viel zu sagen außer, dass er schön und großartig ist. Die Farben sind satt und tief und Bilder und Videos sehen realistisch aus. Es gibt eine 16-MP-Kamera an der Rückseite und eine 4-MP-Frontkamera. Die Kamera an der Rückseite bietet optische Bildstabilisierung und Leistung und Geschwindigkeit sind auch sehr gut. Das Smartphone ist in schwarz, weiß und gold verfügbar. Es ist mit 129 Gramm sehr leicht und verfügt über einen 3000 mAh Akku mit Quick Charge 3.0 Funktion, mit welcher das Smartphone in zirka einer Stunde voll geladen werden kann.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
