Der Intel Core i7-1180G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur basiert und Anfang 2021 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm-SuperFin-Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Architektur. Der i7-1180G7 bietet vier Kerne mit unterschiedlichem Basistakt zwischen 900 MHz (7 W TDP) und 2,2 GHz (15 W TDP). Der Boost ist immer auf 4,6 GHz spezifiziert (Einzelkern). Alle Kerne können mit bis zu 3,7 GHz takten.

Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Xe G7 Grafikkarte mit 96 EUs (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bietet.

Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und Thunderbolt 3 im Chip teilintegriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks. Weiters unterstützt der 1140G7 vPro-Management-Features.

Intel Core i5-1130G7

Der Intel Core i5-1130G7 ist ein sparsamer Quad-Core-SoC für Notebooks und Ultrabooks, der auf der Tiger-Lake-Architektur (7 - 15 Watt UP4) basiert und im September 2020 vorgestellt wurde. Tiger Lake wird im verbesserten 10nm+-Verfahren (SuperFin genannt) bei Intel gefertigt und nutzt die neuen Willow Cove CPU-Kerne mit einer neuen Mikroarchitektur. Der i5-1130G7 bietet vier Kerne mit 0,8 (bei 7 Watt TDP) bzw bis 1,8 GHz Basistakt (bei 15 Watt TDP) und 4 GHz Turbo-Takt (3,4 GHz für alle Kerne). Durch den geringen TDP wird der Turbo-Takt jedoch deutlich weniger lang gehalten als bei den UP3-Modellen.

Eine weitere Neuerung ist die integrierte Intel Iris Xe G7 Grafikkarte (Gen 12) welche eine deutlich höhere Leistung wie die alte Iris Plus G7 in Ice Lake bieten soll. Im 1130G7 bietet die Iris Xe jedoch nur 80 der 96 EUs bei einem Takt von 400 - 1100 MHz.

Wie bisher wird auch weiterhin WLAN (Wifi 6) und nun auch Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 und 4 Lanes PCIe 4 im Chip (teil-)integriert für schnellere, günstige und platzsparende Implementierungen in Notebooks.

Der TDP kann bei den UP4 CPUs von 7 - 15 Watt gewählt werden und dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für sehr dünne und leichte Notebooks und Convertibles.
