The features are numerous but the designs have become so plain that a good design, which is rich in character, can easily stick out. As if consumers have almost had their fill of advanced features and they are after that elusive combination of looks and functionality that few phones can deliver.

The build and finish are great, and you get a vivid display, good battery life and a full-featured camera system. The software, while fluid for the most part, does have a number of glitches which Lenovo needs to fix soon. It would also have been nice if we had some modes for video recording other than the standard one. Finally, the phone is a fingerprint nightmare so keeping it clean is not the easiest thing to do. If you're looking purely at image and video quality then there are older options such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 (Review | Pictures) and the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact (Review | Pictures), which still pack a punch and are priced the same or even lower. However, they lack features such as the infrared focus system and OIS. Given its software bugs and limited video capabilities, the Vibe Shot feels a bit expensive at its current price of Rs. 25,000. If Lenovo can fix these things with future software updates and drop the price a little, then it will have a strong chance of disrupting the mid-range segment.

Modell: Das Lenovo Vibe Shot ist ein elegant aussehendes Smartphone mit solider Spezifikation, das seine Kamera-Fähigkeiten präsentieren soll. Das einzigartige Design zieht definitiv die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich, denn seine Rückseite sieht wie eine Kompaktkamera aus. Lenovo hat die Farben und Oberflächen perfekt aufeinander abgestimmten, um den gewünschten Effekt zu erreichen. Man kann zwischen drei Farben wählen: Crimson, Pearl-White und Graphite-Gray. Beim Bildschirm handelt es sich um einen schönen 5,0 Zoll großen IPS-LCD mit einer herausragenden Pixeldichte von 441 ppi. Usern wird die Übersichtlichkeit definitiv gefallen. Das Android-5.0.2-Lollipop-Gerät verfügt über ein Octa-Core-Setup aus zwei CortexA53 Quad-Core-CPUs.
Weiters bietet es eine Adreno 405 GPU, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internen Speicher und microSD-Unterstützung bis zu 128 GB. Das Lenovo Vibe rühmt sich einer 16 MP f/2.2 OIS Autofokus-Kamera mit Triple-LED-Blitz. Sogar die Front-Kamera ist ein qualitativ hochwertiger 8-MP-Sensor. Weitere Features sind Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, ein FM-Radio-Modul und microUSB-2.0. Mit dem internen Lautsprecher ist die Klangqualität gut und das Gerät wiegt insgesamt nur 145 g. Das Lenovo Vibe verfügt über einen nicht entfernbaren Lithium-Polymer-Akku mit 3000 mAh.
