Microsoft bietet bei der Ausstattung von Surface Pro 6 und Surface Laptop 2 jeweils Varianten mit 8 und 16 GB RAM Arbeitsspeicher, sowie 128, 256, 512 GB oder 1 TB SSD-Speicher an. Beide Microsoft-Geräte gibt es mit Intel Core i5-8250U oder Intel Core i7-8650 Quad-Core-Prozessoren der 8. Generation Kaby Lake-R sowie integrierter Intel UHD Graphics 620.

Der Preis von Surface Pro 6 auf dem deutschen Markt startet für Privatkunden bei 1.049 Euro (UVP) für die Konfiguration mit Intel Core i5-8250U, 8 GB Arbeitsspeicher und 128 GB Speicherplatz. Das Surface Laptop 2 kostet für Endkunden ab 1.149 Euro (UVP). Interessierte Kunden erhalten das Surface Pro 6 in den Farben Platin Grau und Mattschwarz. Für das Surface Laptop 2 gibt es ebenfalls ein Ausführung in Mattschwarz oder Platin Grau, zusätzlich wird das Gerät in Bordeaux Rot und Kobalt Blau angeboten.
