Die Hauptkamera ist wirklich gut, Makro und Bokeh überzeugen. Zwei Dinge findet in der Preisklasse sonst kaum: 90-Hertz-Display und 5G-Mobilfunk mit allen wichtigen Frequenzen. Wir vermissen allerdings eine Tele-Linse und Wasserdichtigkeit.

In video, the OnePlus Nord lost a lot of points for inefficient autofocus and tracking, though it performed well under general conditions.

Das OnePlus One kam wie ein 5,5-Zoll-Blitz aus China und ergänzte die exklusive Liste von Smartphones, die mehr Features zu einem günstigen Preis bieten. Das neueste OnePlus Nord scheint wie die Rückkehr der Kombination von Stil, Merkmalen und Erschwinglichkeit, mit welcher der Hersteller schon 2014 aus der Masse hervorstach. Dieses Smartphone bietet ein Erlebnis, das einem Flaggschiff nahekommt. Es vermischt ein erstklassiges Design, flotte Leistung und tolle Kameras zu einem wunderbarem Mix von Zufriedenheit für Smartphone-Benutzer. Das Design könnte in eine höhere Preisklasse gehören, es hat die gleiche erstklassige Verarbeitung wie die Flaggschiff-Serie OnePlus 8, inklusive dem Metallrahmen zwischen einer Vorder- und Rückseite aus Gorilla-Glas. Die gläserne Oberfläche wird nicht viel Halt bieten, das OnePlus Nord könnte also manchmal rutschig sein. Die schmale Silizium-Hülle, die mitgeliefert wird, dürfte aber eine gute Lösung sein.

Die Power-Taste befindet sich auf der rechten Seite des Gerätes, gleich unterhalb des Schiebereglers, mit dem man schnell zwischen “lautlos”, “vibrieren” und “laut” wechseln kann. Der Lautstärkeregler ist auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite, während ein zentralisierter USB-Typ-C-Anschluss auf der Unterkante platziert wurde. Ein Kopfhöreranschluss fehlt leider, was Benutzer mit verkabelten Kopfhörern nicht erfreuen wird. Das Nord ist in zwei Farben erhältlich, nämlich Gray Onyx und Blue Marble.

Der 6,44-Zoll-AMOLED-Bildschirm des OnePlus Nord hat ein Seitenverhältnis von 20:9. Mit einer Full-HD+-Auflösung und einer Bildrate von 90 Hz liefert es geschmeidige Scrolling-Leistung, zudem ist es hell und klar. Der Bildschirm füllt die ganze Vorderseite des Smartphones aus, die Einfassung ist sehr schlank. Die einzige Unterbrechung ist die Lochung in der oberen linken Ecke für die zwei Selfie-Kameras. Was die Kameras insgesamt angeht, ist das OnePlus Nord auf Flaggschiff-Niveau. Es hat sechs Kamera, vier auf der Rückseite, zwei auf der Vorderseite. So viele Kameras hatte bislang noch kein OnePlus-Smartphone.

Die Hauptkamera ist ein 48-MP-Sony-IMX586-Sensor mit EIS und OIS. Er wird von drei Kameras begleitet: einem 5-MP-Sensor für Tiefenschärfe, einer 2-MP-Makrokamera und einer 8-MP-Ultra-Weitwinkelkamera mit 119 Grad für ausgedehnte Landschaftsaufnahmen. Die Hauptkamera liefert bei passenden Lichtverhältnissen sowohl innen als auch im Freien gute Ergebnisse. Der Akku des OnePlus Nord hat eine Kapazität von 4.115 mAh, er unterstützt Schnellladen, allerdings nicht kabelloses. Alles in allem ist dieses Smartphone einen Blick wert, doch die Wahl bleibt natürlich von den Bedürfnissen und Vorlieben des Benutzers abhängig.
