Das Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 370-20JJS00100 bietet produktiven Usern, die ein leistungsfähiges 2-in-1-Gerät für Schreiben, Lesen und Notieren brauchen, viel. Dank 360-Grad-Scharnier, kann der Bildschirm ganz umgedreht und somit das Gerät als Tablet verwendet werden. Ein Stylus, der in einer eingebauten Halterung verstaut werden kann, wird mitgeliefert. Dieser erleichtert Notieren. Außer dem Laptop-Modus gibt es den Stand-Modus (Bildschirm zeigt zum User und die Tastatur zum Tisch), den Tablet-Modus (Tastatur ist 360 Grad rotiert und der Bildschirm zeigt zum User) und den Tent-Modus (Scharnier zeigt nach oben, Bildschirm zeigt gewinkelt zum User). Für das Gehäuse nutzt Lenovo eine Mischung von verschiedenen Materialien. Die Unterschale und der Bildschirmdeckel sind aus Kohlefaser, während die Handballenablage aus Aluminium ist. Da es sich um ein Convertible handelt, ist der Bildschirm mit Glas bedeckt. Basiseinheit und Handballenablage fühlen sich etwas gummiartig an, der Bildschirm ist dagegen samtiger und glatter. Insgesamt wirkt das Gerät qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Zudem profitiert die Gehäusestabilität von den High-Tech-Materialien. Das Yoga 370 besteht Militär-Anforderungen. Dazu gehören Robustheitstests auf Eindringen von Staub/Wasser, Erschütterungen und Stöße. Es steckt versehentliches Verschütten von Flüssigkeiten direkt auf die Tastatur weg und überlebt die meisten Pendler- und Büroumgebungen. Die extrem reaktionsfreudige und taktile Tastatur ist eines der besten Merkmale dieses Laptops. Tippen fühlt sich an, als ob man am Ende eines langen Arbeitstages auf eine bequeme Matratze fällt. Die Art und Weise, wie die Tasten entlang der unteren Kante leicht gebogen sind, ist eine einzigartige Design-Neuheit von Lenovo. Schreiben langer Texte fühlt sich zufriedenstellend an und die Handballenablage ist bequem. Die Lautsprecher verstecken sich unter der Tastatur und liefern für Musikhören, Filmschauen und Videokonferenzen klaren Sound. Sie sind laut genug, um einen kleinen bis mittelgroßen Raum zu füllen. Der Fingerabdruckleser, der sich rechts von der Handballenablage befindet, unterstützt Windows Hello. Allerdings bietet das HP Elitebook x360 sowohl einen Fingerabdruckleser als auch eine IR-Kamera für Login ohne Hand. Einer der Prozessoren, die am häufigsten in modernen Laptops genutzt werden ist Intels Core i5-7200U. Das Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 370 ist auch mit diesem ausgestattet. Diese 15 W Dual-Core-CPU der Intel U-Serie wurde speziell in Hinblick auf Ultrabooks entwickelt. In puncto Speicher ist der Laptop mit einer 512 GB Toshiba NVMe PCIe SSD ausgestattet. Er verfügt über 8 GB RAM und eine Intel HD Graphics 620. Für Gaming gibt es also bessere Lösungen. Der 13,3-Zoll-LED-Bildschirm des Laptops löst mit Full-HD (1.920 x 1.080 Pixel) bei einem Seitenverhältnis von 16:9 auf und nutzt die IPS-Technologie. Es handelt sich um einen glänzenden Bildschirm, der deutlich stärker reflektiert und empfindlicher auf Fingerabdrücke ist. Trotz der in hellen Umgebungen unvermeidlichen Spiegelungen sehen Bilder und HD-Videos knackig und klar aus und Farben wirken lebendig und dennoch genau. Der Akku wurde gegenüber dem Vorgänger vergrößert. Während das Yoga 260 über einen 44-Wh-Akku verfügte, ist das Yoga 370 mit einem viel größeren 51-Wh-Lithium-Polymer-Akku ausgestattet. Lenovo:
Lenovo („Le“ vom englischen legend, novo (Latein) für neu) wurde 1984 als chinesische Computerhandelsfirma gegründet. Ab 2004 war die Firma der größte Laptop-Hersteller Chinas und nach der Übernahme der PC-Sparte von IBM im Jahr 2005 der viertgrößte weltweit. Neben Desktops und Notebooks stellt das Unternehmen Monitore, Beamer, Server etc her und hat sich auf die Entwicklung, Herstellung und Vermarktung von Unterhaltungselektronik, Personalcomputern, Software, Unternehmenslösungen und damit verbundenen Dienstleistungen spezialisiert.
Im Jahr 2016 belegte das Unternehmen weltweit den ersten Platz bei den Computerverkäufen. Auch 2023 hatte es ihn noch inne bei ca 23% Weltmarktanteil. Wichtige Produktreihen sind Thinkpad, Legion und Ideapad.
2011 wurde die Mehrheit der Medion AG übernommen, einem europäischen Computer-Hardware-Hersteller. 2014 wurde Motorola Mobility gekauft, wodurch Lenovo einen Schub am Smartphone-Markt erreichte.
Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
Intel HD Graphics 620: Integrierte Grafikkarte (GT2-Ausbau, 24 EUs), welche in einigen Kaby-Lake-CPUs (ULV-Modelle, 15 Watt TDP) verbaut wird.

14 Zoll Display-Grösse stellt ein Mittelding zwischen den kleinen Subnotebook-Formaten und den Bildschirmen der 15 Zoll-Standard-Laptops dar.
Der Grund der Beliebtheit mittelgrosser Displays ist, dass diese Größe einigermaßen augenschonend ist, gute Auflösungen mit brauchbaren Detailgrößen liefern und dennoch nicht allzu viel Strom verbraucht und die Geräte noch halbwegs kompakt sein können.
Früher waren 14 Zoll-Geräte sehr selten, jetzt stellen sie nach den 15-Zollern den Standard bei Laptops dar.
