Das verwundert umso mehr, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Fingerprintsensor an die Seite gewandert ist. Im Akkutest erreichte das Galaxy A7 durchschnittliche Werte, einen „normalen“ Tag sollte der Akku aber durchhalten.

Mit einer unverbindlichen Preisempfehlung von 349 Euro kann es sich gegen weit teurere Modelle durchaus behaupten. Das Samsung-Handy punktet mit solider Gesamtperformance, hellem Display und toller Verarbeitung, wenngleich es dazu neigt, aus der Hand zu rutschen. Für die Preisklasse liefert sowohl die Hauptkamera als auch die Selfiekamera des Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) gute Bildergebnisse bei ausreichenden Lichtbedingungen. Aber auch die Resultate bei schlechtem Licht können sich noch sehen lassen. Im Akku-Test kann das Gerät auch einen beeindruckenden Wert einfahren. Nicht so schön ist die Platzierung der Lautstärketasten, der fehlende USB-Typ-C-Anschluss und die etwas langsame Gesichtserkennung.

The Galaxy A7 (2018), on the other hand, seems to offer all three options to the user. You have a 24MP primary camera that works pretty good in the day time and decently enough in low-light. The wide-angle, even though it has a fixed focus, is good enough for the sweeping wide shots in the day. The portrait mode on the phone is also quite consistent and can take portraits that looks much more natural than what the Poco F1 can do. That's what the Galaxy A7 (2018) brings to the table. It offers choice where others don't. Otherwise, it's not as great a performer, neither does it have most durable design and it certainly doesn't have the longest battery life in its price range.

Modell: Das Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) ist das erste Mittelklasse-Smartphone mit einer Triple-Kamera der Firma. Abgesehen von der Triple-Kamera, bietet das A7 hochwertige Merkmale wie einen Super-AMOLED-Bildschirm mit 18.5:9 Seitenverhältnis und die gleiche Benutzerschnittstelle wie das Galaxy S9 zu einem niedrigeren Preis. Das Haupt-Highlight des Galaxy A7, nämlich die Triple-Kamera, besteht aus einem primären 24-MP-Sensor mit f/1.7-Blende, einem 5-MP-Tiefensensor mit f/2.2-Blende und einem 8-MP-Sensor mit f/2.4-Blende sowie Ultra-Weitwinkellinse. Die Kamera-App bietet einige Standardmerkmale wie Panorama, Live Focus, Beauty, Slow Motion, AR Emoji und Hyperlapse. Zudem gibt es eine Scene-Optimiser-Funktion. Dieser auto-intelligente Modus kann 19 verschieden Szenarios erkennen und die Kamera automatisch entsprechend einstellen. Ein weiteres Highlight des Galaxy A7 ist der Bildschirm. Das Phone verfügt über einen 6 Zoll großen FHD+ AMOLED-Touchscreen mit einer Auflösung von 1.080 x 2.220 Pixeln. Der Bildschirm ist groß und hat keinen Notch. Die Bildqualität ist erstklassig und trotz niedrigerem Preis mit Flagship-Phones vergleichbar. Das AMOLED-Display liefert, wie von einem Samsung-Bildschirm zu erwarten, lebendige Farben und hohe Helligkeit.

Das Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) wird durch einen 2,2 GHz Octa-Core-Prozessor angetrieben und verfügt über 4 GB RAM. Der interne Speicher hat eine Kapazität von 64 GB und die Speicherkapazität kann mit einer MicroSD-Karte um bis zu 512 GB erweitert werden. Das A7 ist in drei Farben erhältlich, nämlich blau, schwarz und gold. Es nutzt einen 3.300-mAh-Akku und läuft unter Samsung Experience UI, welches auf Android Oreo 8.0 basiert. Samsungs Adaptive Fast Charging ermöglicht Usern zudem ein schnelles Aufladen des Gerätes. Zu den Sensoren des Phones gehören Gesichtserkennung, ein Fingerabdruckleser, ein Kompass/Magnetometer, ein Näherungssensor, ein Beschleunigungsmesser, ein Umgebungslichtsensor und ein Gyroskop. Vorder- und Rückseite des Galaxy A7 sind aus Glas, der Rahmen aus Aluminium mit glänzender Farbbeschichtung. Obwohl es erstklassig aussieht und Gorilla Glass nutzt ist das Phone nicht resistent gegenüber Wasser oder Staub. Der Stromschalter fungiert auch als Fingerabdruckleser. Er gehört nicht zu den Besten, arbeitet aber zuverlässig. Insgesamt bietet das Galaxy A7 gute Spezifikation, Kamera und Bildschirm, großartige Akkulaufzeit und Speicher zu einem Mittelklasse-Preis. Serie: The Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 is a handset for those after a compact phone, one on an affordable contract, or a device that can be bought SIM-free. Most of Samsung’s phones of previous years were plastic, even the fairly expensive devices. The Samsung Galaxy A3 demonstrates just how far the company has moved on from that style. This device is composed of glass and metal, with barely any plastic on show at all. The front and back glass are big-brand Gorilla Glass 4, and the rear features curved edges for a softer feel. Beneath the screen is a reliable fingerprint scanner couched between the two soft keys, just as in Samsung’s larger phones. Also included is a headphone jack. In addition, the Galaxy A3 is water resistant. Its IP68 certification means that an accidental drop in water is unlikely to cause damage. As is the case with the majority of new handsets, the Samsung Galaxy A3 has a USB Type-C charging port rather than micro-USB. The phone has just 16 GB of storage, which is a little disappointing since the device offers only 9.8 GB of available internal memory and 481 MB of RAM without installing any apps. However, there is a slot for a single microSD card in the tray. The Samsung Galaxy A3 has an unusual speaker placement. Rather than sitting on the bottom of the device, it can be found on the side, above the power button. Speaker quality is fine, with enough volume to cut through some ambient noise.

For display, the Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with punchy colors that can be calibrated to suit the user’s taste. For those who like a super-vivid look, it’s there. If a more relaxed colour is desired, it's possible to just switch to the "Basic" mode in Settings to achieve this. The Samsung Galaxy A3 has a 13 MP rear camera with a f/1.9 lens. However, the camera lacks optical image stabilization. Around the front sits an 8 MP selfie camera. It's capable of producing decent images in good light. The phone uses an Exynos 7870, a CPU with eight Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 1.6 GHz, and a Mali-T830 GPU. Samsung also includes masses of pre-installed apps, which aren't entirely welcome since the Samsung Galaxy A3’s storage is limited. There's the Microsoft Apps suite, including Word and OneNote. S Health is probably the most interesting of Samsung’s own apps. This is now a full fitness and 'wellness’ platform, allowing the user to simply track steps, but also log user’s food and GPS-track hikes, cycles and walks as well. There's only a small increase in battery capacity from 2,300 to 2,350 mAh. The 2,350 mAh battery is well suited to the Samsung Galaxy A3’s small screen, and when used in a way that exploits this, the Galaxy A3 lasts for some time. The 2017 Galaxy A3 is a low-end smartphone with all the necessary features of a high-end device. Hence, the slightly higher price tag is justified.
