Die Leistungsaufnahme ist mit 45 Watt TDP spezifiziert und kann vom Notebookhersteller auf 35 Watt heruntergesetzt werden (configurable TDP = cTDP Down). Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger dem Core i9-9880H wurden nur die Taktfrequenzen erhöht, sonst gibt es keine Unterschiede.

Die einzelnen Kerne haben sich bei Comet Lake im Vergleich zu Kaby Lake nicht verändert. Die Leistung pro Takt bleibt also gleich und auch die Fertigung ist im Vergleich zu Coffee Lake die selbe (14nm++). Auch die Grafikkarte wurde nicht verbessert, sondern lediglich teilweise höher getaktet. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt nun DDR4-2933.

Mit einem spezifizierten TDP von 45 Watt eignet sich der i9-10880H am besten für große und schwere Notebooks. Optional kann er per Configurable TDP-down auf 35 Watt gedrosselt werden (mit dadurch geringerer Leistung).

Nach aktuellen Informationen wurde der 10880H zum Launch vom i7-10875H und i9-19885H ersetzt.

Achtung, teilweise basieren die genutzten Informationen noch auf Leaks (wie Videocardz) und könnten sich noch bis zum Release ändern.

Die Leistungsaufnahme ist mit 45 Watt TDP spezifiziert und kann wahrscheinlich vom Notebookhersteller auf 35 Watt heruntergesetzt werden (configurable TDP = cTDP Down).

Die einzelnen Kerne haben sich bei Comet Lake im Vergleich zu Kaby Lake nicht verändert.
