Modell: Das Asus Zenbook Flip S UX370 ist ein an unglaublich schlankes und leichtes 2-in-1-Gerät. Das Convertible ist mit einem 13,3-Zoll-Bildschirm ausgestattet. Dieser bietet ausreichend Arbeitsfläche und ist trotzdem klein genug, um im Tablet-Modus bequem in der Hand gehalten werden zu können. Die Scharniere drehen sich um ganze 360 Grad und brauchen nicht viel Platz. Am Auffälligsten ist beim Asus ZenBook Flip S UX370 das Design und Asus schreibt diesem auch den Erfolg zu. Der Rahmen ist 6,11 mm an der dünnsten Seite und ASUS nennt dies NanoEdge. Es ergibt sich ein Bildschirm-zu-Gehäuse-Verhältnis von 80 %. Je größer der Bildschirm desto leichter sind höhere Raten erreichbar, doch für 13,3 Zoll ist sie ziemlich gut. Das Asus ZenBook Flip S UX370 is nicht nur unglaublich schlank, sondern mit nur 1,1 kg auch beeindruckend leicht. Das Convertible verfügt über ein Gehäuse aus Aluminium in Luftfahrt-Qualität, ein ultra-schlankes Vapor-Chamber-Kühlsystem und ein 'ErgoLift'-Scharnier, welches eine Drehung des Bildschirms um 360 Grad ermöglicht während das Gerät unglaublich schlank bleibt. Um sicherzustellen, dass das Scharnier möglichst robust ist, hat es Asus einen 20.000 Zyklen umfassenden Open-und-Close-Test ausgesetzt. Daher ist es unwahrscheinlich, dass dieser Hybride bald in zwei Teile zerfällt.

Im Inneren ist das Asus Zenbook Flip S UX370 mit bis zu einem Intel Core i7 CPU (der 7. Generation), bis zu 16 GB LPDDR3 RAM und einer PCIe 3.0 SSD mit einer Kapazität von bis zu 1 TB ausgestattet. Das ZenBook Flip S nutzt einen speziell gestalteten, hochkapazitiven 39 Wh Lithium-Polymer-Akku, der ohne Kompromisse bei der Akkulaufzeit so dünn wie möglich gehalten wurde. Asus behauptet, dass er eine Akkulaufzeit von 11,5 Stunden bietet und dass er dank Fast-Charging-Technologie in 49 Minuten von 0 bis auf 60 % aufgeladen werden kann. Jedes Convertible muss über einen Stift verfügen. Dieser vereinfacht das Leben, vor allem das Bearbeiten von Multimedia. Das Asus ZenBook Flip S bietet so ein Gerät namens ASUS Pen. Sein Design ist nicht außergewöhnlich und er ist nicht schwer, wodurch er einfacher längere Zeit benutzt werden kann. Letzten September wurde Windows mit Windows Ink veröffentlicht und seither wurde die Verwendung eines Stylus auf einem Windows-Gerät noch intuitiver. Was die Schnittstellenausstattung betrifft, so gibt es nicht viele Schnittstellen, die in ein derart dünnes Gehäuse passen. Dem User stehen nur zwei USB-Type-C-Ports zur Verfügung. Allerdings liefert USB-C 45 Watt Leistung und User können zwei Bildschirme in einer Daisy-Chain anschließen. Das ZenBook Flip S verfügt über 802.11ac Wi-Fi mit einer maximalen Transferrate von 867 Mbps und Bluetooth 4.1. Neben vielen anderen ist das Zenbook Flip eine perfekte Alternative zum SurfaceBook.

Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.
