Lenovo has been one of those companies which has focused on online only sales for most of their phones, but with the K6 Note, Lenovo has gone back to brick and mortar stores. K6 Note is available offline only for a starting price of Rs 13,999 for the 3GB RAM variant. While there aren’t any major issues to point out in the K6 Note, it is a good balanced phone which does the job pretty well in every aspect. It will be competing with the Redmi note 3, Coolpad Cool 1 and also the Moto G4 plus (all of which are online only)

The Lenovo K6 Note is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 3GB/ 32 GB version and Rs. 14,999 for the 4 GB/ 64 GB version. As compared to the K6 Power which is priced at Rs 9,999, it comes with a bigger display, additional RAM and ROM (Rs. 14,999 version), an improved primary camera and dual LED flash. But apart from these features, the Lenovo’s K6 Note is more or less a twin of its lesser priced cousin, the K6 Power.

The Lenovo K6 Note is not the best smartphone out there. With devices like the Coolpad Cool 1 available, it makes little sense to buy the K6 Note, even if you need something from the offline market. Most manufacturers are taking note of the offline space now, and while the Coolpad Cool 1 is already a much better device available offline, you could even wait a few months for more options to make it to the market.

All things considered, the Lenovo K6 Note won't steer you wrong. If it just so happens to be on the offer sheet over at your carrier of choice, don't hesitate to snatch one up. But then again, if you are on the open market and don't mind investing the extra effort, shopping around could, potentially yield a "feature mix" that may be better suited to your personal needs.

Overall, the Lenovo K6 Note is a decent smartphone with good build quality, decent display and of course the VR support, but the performance is just average. Suppose if you are a strict offline buyer, considering the lack of options, you can go with K6 Note as it is one of the best smartphones in the price range for offline buyers.

But after having used it extensively and seen the performance, I would suggest that you go for Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime as it is both powerful as well as provides a far greater value for money. If you don’t want to go for Xiaomi then you can go for Moto G4 or Moto G4 Plus.

All in all, we found the Lenovo K6 Note to be a great budget device. Other than the slightly weaker processor, the smartphone is capable of doing all daily tasks efficiently. But if you still want more options in the same range, there is the Moto G4 Plus which has been doing really well in this segment. The newly-launched Cool 1 with its dual camera setup at the back is also a great option.

But if you are buying offline, go ahead with the K6 Note. If it is in a store, chances are that it will probably be the best phone in that store at its price point of Rs 13,999. Its biggest competition in the offline market is the Yu Yunicorn . The Yunicorn is a better looking phone and also has better screen. But in other aspects, it's a wash between these two. In fact, the Lenovo phone feels somewhat more polished in terms of software and performance. If offline shopping is what you are doing, I recommend the Lenovo K6 Note.

Lenovo is one of the many companies in India that have invested heavily in establishing an online sales presence, and several models in the recent past have been online exclusives. With its new K6 Note however, the company wants to reach customers who like purchasing phones offline. The K6 Note offers a large screen and a basic VR experience through the affordable Ant VR headset, which is a great feature even if it isn't always practical. We like this phone's build quality and display, but we still would have liked a more powerful SoC.
