The Lenovo Yoga 3 11 is a phenomenal laptop that is both silent and fanless. It is small and thin, making it a wonderful travel companion. I can easily slide it in and out of my backpack, while the light weight prevents back pain too. True, the Core M processor is not a powerhouse, but it is quite peppy. When paired with 8GB of RAM, it is a very capable machine for all but the most tasking programs, such as video encoding and Photoshop. For everything else, it offers great performance.

The Lenovo Yoga 3 (11 inch) will suit anyone who wants a lightweight and responsive laptop for simple, everyday tasks (i.e. productivity, Internet and videos). We like the SSD as standard in this third-generation model. It's only more demanding programs that are limited by the processor's performance.

If you're looking for a laptop that is both a proper notebook and a proper ultrabook, the Yoga 3 11 absolutely fits the bill. There's no odd modernist designs, no cumbersome detachable parts, no bulkiness being shoehorned into ultrabook claims -- it is merely a very lightweight, thin, and flexible laptop with a simple design, and that makes it an excellent product.

Serie:

Thinkpad Yoga ist eine Ultrabook-Serie hergestellt von Lenovo. Die Yoga Serie wurde 2012 auf den Markt gebracht, ihr Nachfolger, ThinkPad Yoga 2, wurde im vierten Quartal 2014 herausgegeben. Yoga Laptops wurden so leicht, dünn und portable wie möglich gestaltet und richten sich an junge, technisch versierte Consumer. Thinkpad Yogas heben sich durch ihr einzigartiges Feature, sich durch 360-Grad-Drehung des Bildschirms in ein Tablet zu verwandeln, von der Konkurrenz ab.

Die Yoga Serie wurde Ende 2012 mit dem 11-Zoll Yoga 11 und dem 13-Zoll Yoga 13 gestartet. Die zweite Generation, genannt Yoga 2 Pro wurde Ende 2013 herausgebracht: ein 13,3-Zoll großes Modell, deutlich leichter als das Yoga 13. Das jüngste Modell ist das Yoga 3 Pro von Ende 2014. Es ist noch dünner und leichter als alle seine Vorgänger bei gleicher 13,3-Zoll Größe. Der leistungsstärkere Prozessor verringert allerdings die Akkulaufzeit ein bisschen auf unter 6 Stunden. Neben den Ultrabooks gibt es auch IdeaPad Yoga Tablets, die auch in 8-Zoll und 10-Zoll verfügbar sind.

Intel HD Graphics 5300: Integrierte Grafikkarte (GT2), welche in einigen Core-M-CPUs (Broadwell, 4,5 Watt TDP) verbaut wird.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.

5Y10c: Auf der Broadwell-Architektur basierender, sehr sparsamer ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für lüfterlose Tablets und 2-in-1-Notebooks.
