Die schiere Dimension und das Gewicht trifft nicht Jedermanns Geschmack. Kein Wireless Charging kann für den einen oder anderen ein Ausschlusskriterium sein.

Danke OnePlus! Es ist wirklich beeindruckend wie viel Qualität für einen solchen Preis möglich ist. Huawei hat diese Rolle Jahre lang ausgefüllt, ist allerdings mittlerweile dank der neuen P und Mate-Serie seit einiger Zeit ähnlich teuer wie Samsung und Apple. Gut 1’000 Euro oder Schweizer Franken werden da schon einmal für ein neues Flaggschiff fällig, egal wohin man mittlerweile schaut.

The phone is incredible fast, the screen is large, immersive, has beautiful colors, the new refresh rate makes a difference, the cameras have improved, and battery life, while not as great is still solid. And all of that, comes at a price still much lower than iPhones and Galaxies.

Modell:

OnPlus wurde zunächst als Flaggschiff-Killer in der Smartphone-Industrie berühmt. Es versprach Flaggschiff-Hardware zu einem sehr niedrigen Preis. Außerdem war OnePlus bekannt für extrem geschmeidige Android-Leistung, was mit einem recht sauberem oder beinahe purem Android erzielt wird. Die Geräte sind somit sehr schnell und bleiben es auch nach Jahren. Viele Nutzer berichteten selbst nach mehreren Jahren von kompromissloser Leistung auf ihren OnePlus-Geräten. Dieses Jahr machte OnePlus einen interessanten Schritt, denn sie führten erstmals eine Pro-Version des OnePlus 7 ein, das etwas später auf den Markt kam. Das ist interessant, weil OnePlus normalerweise nur zwei Smartphones im Jahr vorstellt, eine Version mit der zunehmenden Jahresnummer und ein sogenanntes T-Modell in der zweiten Hälfte des Jahres. So ist es seit 2015, als zum ersten Mal ein zweites, günstigeres OnePlus X drei Monate nach dem OnePlus 2 vorgestellt wurde. In den darauffolgenden Jahren kamen das OnePlus 3, 4, 5, und 6, denen in der jeweiligen zweiten Jahreshälfte eine aktualisierte T-Version folgte. Im vergangenen Jahr kam noch ein drittes Modell hinzu, das OnePlus 6T McLaren, das Ergebnis einer Zusammenarbeit mit der Rennfirma McLaren.

Das OnePlus 7 Pro besteht aus zwei Gorilla-Glass-5-Panellen mit einem Metallgehäuse, was zu der Verarbeitungsqualität eines Flaggschiffes führt. Auf der linken Seite des Gerätes befindet sich die Lautstärkewippe, auf der rechten Seite eine Lautstärketaste und die Einschalttaste. Auf der Unterseite stehen ein USB-C-3.0-Anschluss, ein Lautsprecher, ein Mikrofon und ein doppeltes SIM-Fach zur Verfügung. Die Vorderseite wird von einem riesigen 6,67-Zoll-Fluid-AMOLED-Display mit 90Hz und einer Auflösung von 1440 x 3120 Pixel beansprucht, das als eines der besten Displays in den Bereichen Farbwiedergabe, Kontrast und Helligkeit ausgezeichnet wurde. Der Bildschirm unterstützt außerdem HDR-10+-Inhalte. Das Seitenverhältnis von 19:5:9 füllt die ganze Vorderseite (Bildschirm-zu-Gehäuse-Verhältnis von 88,1%), wodurch für den oberen Lautsprecher nur wenig Platz bleibt. Durch die 90-Hz-Geschwindigkeit erscheint alles sehr geschmeidig, besonders bei Spielen. Um Akku zu sparen, kann man auch zu 60 Hz wechseln. Die restliche Hardware besteht aus einem achtkern Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Prozessor gekoppelt mit einer Adreno-640-GPU. Insgesamt stehen drei Kombinationen von RAM und ROM zur Auswahl: 128 GB Speicherplatz mit 6 GB Arbeitsspeicher, 256 GB Speicherplatz mit 8 GB Arbeitsspeicher, oder 256 GB Speicherplatz mit massiven 12 GB Arbeitsspeicher. Leider gibt es keinen Steckplatz für Speicherkarten.

Das OnePlus 7 ist mit einem brancheführendem dreifachen Kamera-Setup ausgerüstet. Bei der beliebten DXOMark-Wertung erhielt es eine der besten Noten. Die Hauptkamera hat 48 MP, f/1.6 und OIS. Die zweite Einheit hat 16 MP, f/1.6 und eine Weitwinkellinse. Die dritte Kamera hat 8 MP, f/2.4 und ein Teleobjektiv mit OIS. Zusammen nehmen diese Kameras sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts beeindruckende Fotos auf. In gewisser Weise sind sie sogar besser als die Kamera des Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus oder die des Huawei P30 Pro. Die Selfie-Kamera ist der wahrscheinlich interessanteste Teil dieses Smartphones. Um das Full-Screen-Design zu erhalten, baute OnePlus eine motorisierte Pop-Up-Kamera ein (16 MP, f/2.0). Den Motor sollte man mindestens 30.000 mal aufklappen können, inklusive für Gesichtserkennung. Das Smartphone ist darüber hinaus mit dem neuesten Bluetooth 5.0 ausgestattet, was gut ist, da keine 3,5-mm-Kopfhörerbuchse vorhanden ist. Der Fingerabdruck-Leser ist unter dem Bildschirm eingelassen, laut verschiedenen Tests ist er der schnellste seiner Art auf dem Markt. Der 4.000-mAh-Akku unterstützt die neueste 30-W-Kettenladung von OnePlus, die den Akku in nur 30 Minuten zur Hälfte auflädt. OnePlus bleibt also weiterhin ein wahrer Flaggschiff-Killer, doch diesmal gehört der Preis auch schon fast in den Flaggschiff-Bereich - die großen Namen sind nicht viel teurer. Dies wurde erreicht, indem einige Eigenschaften, z.B. drahtloses Laden oder Wasserbeständigkeit, weggelassen wurden.

SD 855: High-End SoC (System on a Chip) für Smartphones welcher Ende 2018 vorgestellt wurde. Integriert unter anderen einen schnellen "Prime Core" mit bis zu 2,84 GHz und drei weitere schnelle Cortex-A76 basierende Performance-Kerne. Zum Stromsparen wurden außerdem 4 weitere ARM Cortex-A55 Kerne verbaut.
