Spreadtrum SC7731

 SC7731

Der Spreadtrum SC7731 ist ein preiswerter ARM-SoC (System on a Chip), der vorrangig in Android-Smartphones eingesetzt wird. Er wird in 28 nm gefertigt und integriert einen Quad-Core Cortex-A7-Prozessor sowie eine ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU. Die Taktraten liegen bei bis zu 1,3 GHz für die vier Cortex-A7-basierten CPU-Kerne. Weiterhin verfügt der Chip über einen LPDDR2/3-Speichercontroller sowie ein Funkmodem für verschiedene Standards wie HSPA+.

Performance

Entsprechend der Taktrate von 1,3 GHz und den vier CPU-Kernen ordnet sich der SC8830 auf dem Niveau anderer Low-End-SoCs ein und ist in etwa mit einem MediaTek MT6582 vergleichbar. Für einfache Alltagsaufgaben und Browsing wird eine insgesamt akzeptable Leistungsfähigkeit geboten. Die integrierte Mali-400 MP2 GPU meistert nur anspruchslose Casual Games bei niedriger Displayauflösung.

Leistungsaufnahme

Dank der sparsamen A7-Kerne sowie der 28-nm-Fertigung fällt der Stromverbrauch sehr niedrig aus. Der Chip kann damit auch in kleineren Smartphones problemlos eingesetzt werden.
