Vivo Nex Dual Display

Wie das Vivo Nex legt das Vivo Nex Dual Wert darauf, die Vorderseite Phones möglichst mit dem Bildschirm auszufüllen. Ersteres erreicht dies durch einen Aufklappmechanismus für die Frontkamera. Dagegen verzichtet dieses Modell gänzlich auf eine Frontkamera. Vorne befindet sich daher nur das Hauptdisplay. Das Vivo Nex Dual misst 157,2 x 75,3 x 8,1 mm und wiegt 199 Gramm. Wie der Name schon sagt, hat es zwei Displays. Das Hauptdisplay ist ein 6,3 Zoll großer Super-AMOLED-Bildschirm mit Full-HD+-Auflösung. Interessanterweise beträgt das Bildschirm-zu-Gehäuse-Verhältnis nur 84,7 %. Das zweite Display ist ein 5,49 Zoll großes Super-AMOLED-Display mit Full-HD-Auflösung. Das Nex Dual ist in nur einer Farbe erhältlich, nämlich in polarblau. Das ist aber unwichtig, denn außer den Seiten gibt es nicht viel Platz für Farbe. Beide Displays werden von einem Qualcomm Snapdragon 845-Prozessor mit einer Adreno 630-GPU angesteuert. Das Nex Dual ist nur in einer Konfiguration erhältlich: 128 GB ROM mit 10 GB RAM. Da ein Speicherkartensteckplatz fehlt, kann der Speicher nicht erweitert werden. Für Aufnahmen bietet das Vivo Nex Dual eine Kamera mit drei Sensoren. Diese besteht aus einer 12-Megapixel-Kamera mit OIS, einem sekundären 2-Megapixel-Sensor und schließlich einer TOF-Kamera (Time of Light). Letztere, erfüllt so ziemlich die gleiche Aufgabe wie Zweitere. Diese Triple-Kamera dient auch als Frontkamera, da es zwei Displays gibt. Das ergibt eine ziemlich gute Selfie-Kamera. Zudem unterstützt sie HDR- und 4k-Videoaufnahmen mit 30 Bildern pro Sekunde. Im Gegensatz zu vielen Flagships von heute behält das Vivo Nex Dual seine 3,5-mm-Buchse als Audioausgang. Zum Entsperren des Telefons gibt es unter dem Front-Bildschirm einen Fingerabdruckscanner. Das Phone läuft unter Android 9.0 und wird von einem 3500-mAh-Akku mit Strom versorgt. Via seinem USB-Typ-C-Port an der Unterkante unterstützt es Fast-Charging. Wegen der beiden Displays ist kein kabelloses Aufladen möglich. Das Vivo Nex Dual ist ein guter Ansatz eines Vollbild-Designs. Leider kommt es diesbezüglich aus irgendeinem Grund einigen anderen Modellen mit Frontkamera nicht einmal nahe. Ohne Notch oder größerer Blende für Kameras und Sensoren sieht es ordentlich aus, aber der untere Rahmen ist für ein Vollbild-Design zu groß. Das Design mag interessant sein, doch zwei Bildschirme auf einem Gerät sind nicht notwendig. Der Hauptbildschirm ist für Videos, Spiele und anderes gut genug. Daher wird der zweite Bildschirm nur zum Aufnehmen von Fotos und Selfies benötigt. Zudem ist der Aufwand für ein Vollbild-Design zu groß, denn auf der anderen Seite, die man auch für das Hauptdisplay halten könnte, sind die Rahmen einfach zu groß. Daher ist der Vivo Nex Dual möglicherweise nicht die beste Wahl, doch als Konzept für Vollbild-Design liefert es eine Vision. Hands-On-Artikel von Jagadisa Rajarathnam

Overall, our impressions of the NEX 3 5G were good. It's got a combination of great specs and features that makes it a decent flagship even when compared to other options today. However, the issue is that it doesn't have enough oomph factor. Its pop-up camera is interesting enough but not really anything new, while the other areas of performance are not best-in-class either. This makes it hard to recommend to others over other flagships due to its current pricing except for vivo fans but it's certainly a good flagship device to consider.

Overall, our first impression of the vivo NEX 3 5G has been quite positive. Personally, my favourite ones are the macro and ultra-wide angle as the camera software is able to retain much of the texture and colour quality. While the bokeh mode already looks quite good, we did notice some room for improvement, as the overexposure might be a tad too much but it's still a pretty good shot. We are currently reviewing the vivo NEX 3 5G so we will be taking more photos to see how much more it can go.

Es ist ein Tochterunternehmen von BBK Electronic Corporation, einem riesigen chinesischen Elektronikkonzern, zu dem auch Oppo, Oneplus und Realme gehören, wodurch ein beachtlicher gemeinsamer Weltmarkt-Anteil bei Smartphones zustandekommt. Vivo bietet Smartphones, Smartphone-Zubehör, Software und Online-Dienste.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.

Qualcomm Adreno 630: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Laut Qualcomm um 30% schneller als die alte Adreno 540 im Snapdragon 835 bei 30% geringerem Stromverbrauch.

Qualcomm Adreno 640: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. Laut Qualcomm um 20% schneller als die alte Adreno 630 im Snapdragon 845 und bietet 50% mehr ALUs (Recheneinheiten).

3D Spiele sind auf diesen Vertretern nur in Ausnahmen spielbar, grundsätzlich sind die Grafiklösungen hierfür jedoch nicht geeignet. Office Programme und Internet surfen dürfte jedoch ohne Problem möglich sein.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

SD 845: High-End SoC (System on a Chip) für Smartphones welcher Anfang 2018 vorgestellt wurde. Integriert unter anderem 4 Kryo 385 Performance-Kerne (Cortex-A75) und 4 Kryo 385 Effizienz-Kerne (Cortex-A55). Weiters ist ein X20 LTE Modem (Cat.18 down 1.2 Gbps, Cat.13 up 150 Mbps) im Chip verbaut.

SD 855+: High-End SoC (System on a Chip) für Smartphones welcher Ende 2018 vorgestellt wurde. Integriert unter anderen einen schnellen "Prime Core" mit bis zu 2,96 GHz und drei weitere schnelle Cortex-A76 basierende Performance-Kerne. Zum Stromsparen wurden außerdem 4 weitere ARM Cortex-A55 Kerne verbaut. Das integrierte X24 LTE Modem unterstützt 2 Gigabit Cat. 20 und weiters kann der Chip mit dem externen X50 5G Modem kombiniert werden. Höher getaktete Version des Snapdragon 855 (Prime Core +120 MHz, GPU 15% schneller).

SD 865: High-End SoC (System on a Chip) für Smartphones welcher Ende 2019 vorgestellt wurde. Integriert unter anderen einen schnellen "Prime Core" mit bis zu 2,84 GHz und drei weitere schnelle Cortex-A77 basierende Performance-Kerne. Zum Stromsparen wurden außerdem 4 weitere ARM Cortex-A55 Kerne verbaut. Integriert kein eigens Modem, sonder ist gedacht um mit dem Snapdragon X55 5G Modem zusammenzuarbeiten. Wird bei TSMC im N7P Prozess (Performance-Enhanced Version von 7 nm DUV) gefertigt.
