At this price range mostly every smartphone offers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset but the Galaxy A70 uses Snapdragon 675 which is the same chipset that we’ve seen in mid-range devices like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. Hence, if you aren’t a heavy user or you are specifically looking to buy a Samsung smartphone then, yes, the Samsung Galaxy A70s is the ideal choice for you.

The smartphone offers some good performance in the daylight conditions and it is fast to lock focus on the subject when you click macro subjects. The wide-angle mode also offers some good results, though the issue of barrel distortion was quite visible. The low light performance still needs improvements as the colours were slightly washed out and the wide-angle lens was average. However, the Night mode sometimes improves the image in low light conditions. The selfie performance is also decent in daylight, though edge detection in portrait mode could have been. Overall, it offers good results in daylight and low light needs improvements. However, the company has promised that it will soon roll out an update that will improve the low light performance of the device.
