Ein perfektes Smartphone ist das Xiaomi Mix 2 nicht geworden. Auf einen Klinkenanschluss und eine Dual-Kamera muss man verzichten. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Mi Mix 2 ohne Hülle nicht gut nutzbar, da es rutschig ist und nach kurzer Zeit alles voll mit Fettschlieren und Fingerabdrücke ist.

Modell: Das Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 bringt eine Hauch Stil und Klasse zu den preisgünstigen Flagship-Smartphones. Das Mi Mix ist jenes Phone das Samsung, LG und Apple dazu inspiriert hat ihre neuesten Flagships mit 18:9 Full-Screen-Bildschirmen auszustatten. Bildschirme mit dünnen Rahmen haben bereits einige User dazu bewogen, auf neue und teure Smartphones mit schlanken Rahmen aufzurüsten. Zu diesem revolutionären Phone einen Nachfolger zu entwickeln war für Xiaomi eine schwierige Aufgabe. Doch das Mi Mix 2 gibt ein wunderbares Flagship ab, das besser in der Hand bedienbar und deutlich schneller ist. Zudem verfügt es über die gleiche primäre Kamera wie das Mi6 der Herstellers, was eine gute Sache ist. Das Mi Mix 2 sieht noch besser als das Original aus. Das beste Design-Veränderung ist die kleinere Gesamtgröße. Die Höhe fiel um 7 mm und die Breite um 6 mm. Auch die Bauhöhe wurde etwas beschnitten und beträgt nun nur 7,7 mm. Leider gibt es deshalb nun eine Kamera-Ausbuchtung, die dank einer goldenen Umrahmung noch offensichtlicher ist. Das Mi Mix 2 wird durch ein Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Chipset, 6 GB RAM und reizenden 128 GB internen Speicher angetrieben. Mit 6 GB RAM ist Multitasking am Mi MIX 2 ein Kinderspiel. Das Phone kann mühelos zwei anspruchsvolle Games und einige Social-Media-Apps im RAM halten.

Ein 12 MP Sony IMX386 Sensor erfüllt seine Pflicht in der Kamera an der Rückseite. Diese kann 4K-Videos aufzeichnen und wird durch eine 4-Weg Optical Image Stabilisation Unit, Phase Detection Auto Focus und einigen Softwaretricks für Verbesserung bei schlechten Lichtbedingungen unterstützt. Obwohl es sich nicht um ein Dual-Kamera-Setup handelt, wird bestätigt, dass die Kamera einige beeindruckende Details aufzeichnet. Zudem gibt es eine 5-MP-Frontkamera, doch diese ungünstig rechts unten platziert. User müssen das Mi Mix 2 umdrehen, um diese angemessen bedienen zu können. Xiaomi liefert keine USB-C-Kopfhörer mit, doch der User erhält einen USB-C-auf-3,5-mm-Audio-Adapter. Eine 3,5 mm Kopfhörerbuchse fehlt offensichtlich. Das ist das erste Xiaomi-Phone, das diesen Port nicht bietet, und mag ein Zeichen dafür sein, welchen Weg die Firma einschlägt. Dieser Trend wurde Ende 2016 vom iPhone 7 begonnen, womit User den USB-C-Port oder kabellose Kopfhörer für Audio nutzen müssen. In puncto Ausstattung fehlt einzig ein IR-Blaster. Usern steht NFC, ein Fingerabdruckleser, der für mobile Zahlungen notwendig ist, schnelles WLAN, GPS und GLONASS, OTG USB sowie das neueste Bluetooth 5.0 zur Verfügung. Zudem wird Dual-SIM unterstützt, was nützlich ist, wenn User eigene Verträge für daheim und in der Fremde oder für Business und Freizeit nutzen möchte. Das Mi Mix hat den Trend zu einem rahmenlosen Design gestartet und das Mi Mix 2 hat viel zu bieten. In vielerlei Hinsicht ist es noch immer ein Trensetter, doch es hat sich in notwendigen Bereichen verbessert.
