Sony scheint mit dem XZ1 wieder zu alter Stärke gefunden zu haben. Allerdings schwächelt man etwas bei der Akkuleistung und andere Referenzmodelle bieten zudem eine immer noch etwas bessere Kameraqualität.

Le Sony Xperia XZ1 est commercialisé depuis le 5 octobre 2017 au prix de 699 euros. Un prix très élevé au regard de ce que propose ce smartphone. Il est certes très performant et affiche des caractéristiques techniques haut de gamme, mais c’est bien insuffisant pour le prix demandé. Comme l’iPhone 8, le XZ1 est une énième itération d’un modèle à bout de souffle, complètement hors du temps. Son ratio taille/écran est aussi ridicule que celui de l’iPhone 8 à une époque où tous les modèles haut de gamme se dirigent vers du borderless. La qualité photo décevante vient finir de nous dissuader de mettre la main au portefeuille.

Modell: Sonys Xperia-Produktlinie hört dank ihres eleganten Designs nie auf zu überraschen. Nicht zu vergessen ist, dass die verbauten Kameras üblicherweise vom Hersteller stammen, denn Sony stellt auch gute Kameras her. Was bietet das neue Sony Xperia XZ1 nun als Flagship der aktuellen Generation? Es ist mit einem Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4 GB RAM und 64 GB Speicher ausgestattet. Die Speicherkapazität kann via MicroSD-Slot um bis zu 256 GB erweitert werden. Als japanische Firma blieb Sony seinen bewährten Design immer treu ohne, anders als die meisten Hersteller, jemals versucht zu haben, Apple zu kopieren. Scheinbar frönt Sony deshalb seinem gänzlich ausgeglichenen Design. Schließlich lässt sich nur schwer feststellen, dass es sich um ein Flagship handelt, denn es nutzt das gleiche rechtwinkelige Gehäuse wie das alte XZ oder sogar das Z5 und Z3. Man sollte sich allerdings nicht vom Aussehen täuschen lassen, denn es liefert definitiv Hardware aus dem Jahre 2017. Trotz seines in die Jahre gekommenen Design hat Sony das Xperia XZ1 so weiterentwickelt, dass es mit einer maximalen Bauhöhe von 7,4 mm und einem Aluminium-Unibody-Gehäuse, das angemessen leicht, robust und fest ist, raffinierter aussieht. Wie bei den meisten Phones gibt es einige Antennen-Bänder, die am Gehäuse selbst für ungehinderte Verbindungen sorgen.

Wie die meisten Sony-Phones ist das Xperia XZ1 IP65/68-zertifiziert, was von voller Widerstandsfähigkeit gegenüber Staub- und Wasserresistenz sorgt. Versehentliches Durchnässen ist also möglich, ohne das empfindliche Innenleben zu beschädigen. Der SIM-Schacht ist zwar ohne Werkzeug zugänglich, doch er hat abhängig vom User seine Vor- und Nachteile, denn es muss immer noch ein sekundärer Schacht, der den SIM hält, ausgeworfen werden. Das könnte kein Versehen, sondern ein Feature sein. In puncto Audio bietet das Xperia XZ1 zwei nach vorne gerichtete Lautsprecher, was den Cupping-Effekt vermeidet, den die meisten Hersteller nicht berücksichtigen. Das Xperia XZ1 ist mit einem 5,2 Zoll großen IPS-Panel ausgestattet. Für ein Flagship löst es überraschenderweise in FHD und nicht in 1440p oder sogar 4k auf. Allerdings mag dies nicht notwendig sein, denn das braucht nur mehr Energie. Dank HDR-Unterstützung ist das Betrachten dennoch ein Genuss. Außerdem wird das Panel von Gorilla Glass 5 geschützt. An Schnittstellen nutzt das Xperia XZ1 den neuen USB-Type-C-Standard, womit Sony den technischen Trends folgt. Das Xperia XZ1 verfügt über einen 2.700-mAh-Akku, der für ein Gerät mit dieser Schlankheit und Größe angemessen groß ist. Sein energieeffizienter Chipsatzes und der wenig anspruchsvollen LCD-Bildschirms lassen eine ganztägige Nutzung ohne Laden erwarten. Dank Quick Charge 3.0 kann der Akku zudem in nur 30 Minuten auf 50 % geladen werden. Damit ist das Phone weniger anfällig dafür, dass ihm die Energie ausgeht. Da es sich um ein Sony-Phone handelt, sind die verbauten Kameras keine Ausnahme. Das Xperia XZ1 verfügt über eine 19 MP Exmor RS Kamera an der Rückseite, die 960 FPS Zeitlupen-Aufnahmen und 4K-Videos aufnehmen kann. Man beachte, dass Apple Sonys Exmor Sensoren nutzt. Daher braucht man in diesem Punkt nicht diskutieren, wer der bessere sei. Mit der Einführung von Android 8.0 Oreo können sich User noch mehr Kamera-Features erwarten. Während Apple die iOS-Szene dominiert, ist es ein wenig entmutigend, dass Sony sich mit seinen guten Phones nicht wirklich so stark gegenüber Samsung oder anderen chinesischen Herstellern durchsetzt. Wenn Sie nach einem guten Android-Phone und Kamera-Setup in einem Gerät suchen, könnte das Xperia XZ1 die nächstbeste Wahl sein.

Serie: Sony's Xperia Z5 comes in 3 major versions, known as standard, premium and compact. The material choice is a very nice glass front and a back with metal construction wrapping all around the phone. Sony has always been recognized for having one of if not the best cameras on their phones. The Xperia Z5 features the latest sensor with 23 MP, 5520 х 4140 pixels, phase detection, autofocus, and LED flash. It is capable of video recording at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@60fps, and 720p@120fps with HDR function available. All 3 versions come with the new fingerprint sensor, which is placed at the side of the phone where the power button is. Another great design of the phone is its stereo front facing speakers. The Xperia Z5 phones are IP68 certified, i.e. dust proof and water resistant over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes.

The compact version has a 4.6 inch 720 x 1280 pixels Triluminos display. Because of its lower price it is not as big and high-resolution than the standard model. The hardware of the Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop) system includes a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 consisting of 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and Cortex A43 Quad Core CPUs and an Adreno 430 GPU. The only difference of the compact model to the standard model is that it does not have 3 GB of RAM. However, due to its lower screen resolution it should have no problems with only 2 GB of RAM. The non-removable Lithium-Ion battery rated at 2700 mAh is smaller than the standard model's. Sony claims that it will last up to 2 days. In addition, this device comes with 32 GB of flash memory and the storage capacity can be expanded with a microSD by up to 200 GB.

Qualcomm Adreno 540: Grafikchip für Smartphones und Tablets, integriert im Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. Bietet eine vergleichbare Architektur wie der Adreno 530, mit leichten Optimierungen und höheren Taktraten dank 10nm Herstellungsprozess.

Einige nicht anspruchsvolle aktuelle Spiele können mit geringen Details noch flüssig gespielt werden. Für Office und Video natürlich ausreichende Leistungsreserven.
