Modell: Das Xiaomi Mi Max 2 ist ein Smartphone mit einem riesigen 6,44-Zoll-Bildschirm. Letztes Jahr hat Xiaomi das Mi Max herausgebracht. Obwohl es sich eindeutig um ein Nischen-Produkt handelte, wurde es sehr beliebt, denn es bot viel Wert für seinen Preis. Wie im letzten Jahr ist das Mi Max 2 wegen seines lächerlich riesigen, jedoch wirklich scharfen und lebendigen 6,44-Zoll-Bildschirm mit 1080p eindeutig nicht ein Gerät für jedermann. Die Verarbeitung ist ausgezeichnet, denn das Phone ist vollständig aus Metall gefertigt und das Antennen-Design sieht besser aus als bei einigen älteren Xiaomi-Phones. Die Tasten klappern nicht und generell und sieht das Mi Max 2 aus wie ein Flagship-Modell und fühlt sich auch so an. Die kapazitiven Tasten nutzen das gewohnte Layout und sind schön beleuchtet. Das Mi Max 2 mag, was die Rechenleistung betrifft, wie ein Downgrade vom ersten Mi Max aussehen, den es nutzt einen etwas weniger leistungsstarken Snapdragon 625 Chip, der mit 4 GB RAM und 64 GB erweiterbaren Speicher kombiniert wurde. User können auch ein 128-GB-Modell wählen, wenn sie mehr Speicher benötigen. Das Xiaomi Mi Max 2 läuft unter MIUI Global ROM 8.5, das auf Android 7.1 basiert. Es gibt einige Merkmale, Tweaks und Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten, für die Xiaomi-Phones bekannt sind. Beispielsweise können User bei Übergangseffekte verändern, aus verschiedenen Themes oder Hintergründen wählen, die Kamera schnell aus dem Standby-Modus starten, einige Bildschirmeinstellungen manuell konfigurieren oder ein eingebautes App-Lock-Merkmal verwenden.

Da das Mi Max 2 einen riesigen Bildschirm hat, werden es viele wahrscheinlich für Multimedia und Unterhaltung nutzen. Daher benötigt es gute Lautsprecher und das Mi Max 2 schneidet diesbezüglich mit seinem Stereo-Lautsprecher-Setup gut ab. Einer befindet sich unten, der andere ist im Hörer eingebettet. Der Sound ist reich, knackig und klar und die Lautstärke ist sehr gut. Die Sound-Qualität via Headset-Buchse ist auch großartig, ohne Verzerrungen und mit ausgewogenem Klang. In puncto Kameras bietet das Xiaomi Mi Max 2 eine 12-MP-Kamera mit f/2.0-Blende und Dual-Tone-Dual-LED-Blitz. Die Selfie-Kamera nutzt einen 5-MP-Sensor. Die übliche Xiaomi-Kamera-App ermöglicht sehr schnelle Photo-Aufnahmen. Zudem gibt es einige Aufnahme-Modi, z.B. einen Manuell-Modus, der es dem Nutzer ermöglicht einige Bildeinstellungen anzupassen. Die Konnektivität des Mi Max 2 ist fast ausgezeichnet. Wi-Fi-Leistung und Reichweite sind großartig und Bluetooth 4.2 funktioniert einwandfrei. Zudem ist Navigation dank eingebauten GPS-, Beidou- und GLONASS-Empfängern sehr genau. Weiters ist ein FM-Radio integriert. Allerdings fehlen LTE-Band-20 und NFC. Das Mi Max 2 bietet einen hybriden Dual-SIM-Schacht, der entweder zwei SIMs oder einen SIM und eine MicroSD-Karte aufnehmen kann. Die Aufnahmequalität und der Signalempfang sind via beiden SIM-Karten-Slots großartig.
