Das Dell Latitude 7300 schüttelt einiges aus dem Ärmel. Es erfüllt viele wichtige Anforderungen, die am häufigsten an einen erstklassigen Laptop gestellt werden. Derzeit hält es mit maximal 13 Zoll Größe und Länge den Rekord, das weltweit kleinste Premium-Notebook der Business-Klasse zu sein. Es sieht sauber und makellos aus und bietet einige Anschlüsse, damit User in unmittelbarer Nähe die schnellste Internetverbindung herstellen können.

Wie bereits erwähnt, ist das Dell Latitude 7300 insgesamt nur bis zu ungefähr 13 Zoll groß. Sein intelligentes Design ist offensichtlich. Beispielsweise hat das verbesserte Display einen vierseitig schmalen Rand und eine matte, blendfreie Oberfläche. Nicht nur vergrößert die vierseitig schmale Einfassung das Bildschirm-zu-Gehäuse-Verhältnis und lässt den User damit besser Eintauchen. Der blendfreie matte Bildschirm kann auch Spiegelungen eines hellen Umgebungslichts wirksam verhindern. Daher kann das Dell Latitude 7300 überall und jederzeit angenehm bedient werden, falls User ihre Arbeit von zu Hause oder zu einem Kurzurlaub am nächsten Strand mitzunehmen.

Das Dell Latitude 7300 ist mit dem neuesten Intel Core i7-8665U-Prozessor der achten Generation ausgestattet. Dieser ist ein stromsparendes Quad-Core-Modell, das man häufig in den neuesten Versionen von High-End-Notebooks oder Ultrabooks antrifft. Mit aktiven Turbo arbeitet er mit einer höheren Taktrate von bis zu 4,800 MHz, da er im 14-nm-Verfahren hergestellt wird.

Der Laptop ist in zwei Designs erhältlich. Abhängig vom Geschmack kann entweder ein Gehäuse mit neuem Aluminium-Finish oder eines aus strapazierfähigem Kohlefasergewebe gewählt werden. Das neue Aluminium-Finish wirkt stark, erhaben und perfekt für Unternehmensleiter. Es eignet sich optimal, um auf den Arbeitsplatz mitgenommen zu werden oder einfach nur, um Karriere und Identität hervorzuheben. Die Kohlefasergewebe-Oberfläche sieht ästhetischer, was sie interessanter wirken lässt. Insgesamt ist das Design beider Varianten beeindruckend und sichtbare Mängel sind kaum erkennbar.

Professionelles Convertible… Das Latitude 7390 2-in-1 hat sicherlich seine Vorzüge, wie zum Beispiel den Core i7-8650U Quad-Core-Prozessor, die NVMe-SSD, das robuste und gleichzeitig kompakte Gehäuse und die Möglichkeit, zwei Massenspeicher einzubauen. Ganz ohne ihm eigene Nachteile ist das Gerät jedoch nicht - und außerdem auch noch ziemlich teuer obendrein.

Dell Latitude 7390

Das Dell Latitude 7390 wurde entworfen, um Wissensarbeitern ein hochwertiges mobiles Benutzererlebnis zu liefern, beginnend mit einem Intel-Prozessor achter Generation. Dell legt ebenfalls wert auf Sicherheit und bietet optional einen Fingerabdruckleser, einen Kontakt-Chipkartenleser (auch kontaktlos) sowie Intel-vPro und Windows Hello. Was das Design anbelangt, ist das Gerät aufgrund des Soft-Touch-Deckels aus Kohlefaser etwas interessanter als sein Bruder, das 7390 2-in-1. Das Gehäuse, das beinahe gänzlich mattschwarz ist und vorne spitz zuläuft, wirkt in seiner eleganten Schlichtheit fast generisch. Es fügt dem schwarzen Viereck mit silbernem Dell-Logo etwas Konsistenz hinzu. Unter dem Deckel verbirgt sich ein 13,3-Zoll-Bildschirm mit Full-HD-Auflösung und dünner Einfassung. Das Kunststoff-Deck beherbergt eine Island-Style-Tastatur sowie einen Fingerabdruckscanner. Mit einem Gewicht von 1,3 kg und einer Dicke von 1,8 cm ist es sowohl schwerer als auch umfangreicher als so mancher Konkurrent. Beispielsweise wiegt das ThinkPad X1 Carbon (6. Generation) 1,13 kg und ist 1,5 cm dünn. Obwohl Dells Geräte so entworfen sind, dass sie kleinere Stürze, Erschütterungen, Feuchtigkeit, und Sand verkraften, können besorgte Nutzer dennoch das ProSupport-Plus-Service beanspruchen, das für eine zusätzliche Gebühr durch Unfall verursachte Schäden repariert und noch andere Dienste bietet.

Der 13,3-Zoll-Touchscreen des Latitude mit 1080-p-Auflösung ist lebhaft, doch einige andere sind heller. Das Latitude bedeckt 132 Prozent des sRGB-Farbraumes und schlägt somit den Premium-Laptop-Durchschnittswert von 108 Prozent locker (ebenso das EliteBook mit 109 Prozent, das X1 Carbon mit 129 Prozent und das XPS 13 mit 118 Prozent). Die 92% Helligkeitsverteilung ist gut und macht sich bei schwarzen Hintergründen bemerkbar, die insgesamt einheitlich und gesättigt erscheinen. Dell hat zu einem matten Touchscreen gewechselt, der im Gegensatz zu spiegelnden Displays Licht nicht reflektiert. Mit einer Intel-Core-i7-8650-CPU, einer 256-GB-PCIe-NVMe-SSD und 8 GB Arbeitsspeicher hat das Latitude keine Probleme mit Multitasking: 25 Tabs in Google-Chrome schafft es mühelos. Die Intel-Core-i7-CPU unterstützt auch vPro für Fernverwaltung des Notebooks durch IT-Experten. Dell benutzt eine Hynix-M.2-SSD mit einer 256-GB-Kapazität, die über SATA-III verbunden ist. Für Grafikleistung sorgt eine Intel-UHD-Graphics-620. Die GPU eignet sich nicht für aktuelle und/oder grafisch anspruchsvollere 3-D-Spiele. Die eingebaute 720-p-Webcam ist für Konferenzgespräche gut genug, obwohl die Bildqualität nicht die beste ist. Der Laptop hat eine für ein Business-Notebook gewöhnliche Auswahl an Anschlüssen. Links befinden sich eine Thunderbolt-3-, eine HDMI-, eine USB-3.0-Schnittstelle, und ein Chipkartenleser. Dazu kommt noch ein tonnenförmiger Netzanschluss.

Das Latitude 7390 ist eine gelungene Mischung aus einem kompaktem Notebook wie dem XPS 13 und einem funktionalem Gerät wie dem Lenovo Thinkpad X270. Dabei schaut sich Dell ein wenig von beiden Vorbildern ab. Das merken wir bereits am Gehäuse, das mit mattschwarzem Gummi überzogen ist, der klar an Thinkpads erinnert.

Das Latitude 7390 ist eine gelungene Mischung aus einem kompaktem Notebook wie dem XPS 13 und einem funktionalem Gerät wie dem Lenovo Thinkpad X270. Dabei schaut sich Dell ein wenig von beiden Vorbildern ab. Das merken wir bereits am Gehäuse, das mit mattschwarzem Gummi überzogen ist, der klar an Thinkpads erinnert.

Although the Latitude 13 7390 2-in-1 is sold with the whole U series range, we are glad that we got our hands on a unit equipped with a Core i5-8250U processor. We found it to be the perfect business solution – being super responsive. Moreover, the CPU in this device performed better than some of its larger competitors, which can rely on bigger and more effective cooling solutions, like the Lenovo IdeaPad 520, for example.

Dell Latitude 7390

Das Dell Latitude 7390 wurde entworfen, um Wissensarbeitern ein hochwertiges mobiles Benutzererlebnis zu liefern, beginnend mit einem Intel-Prozessor achter Generation. Dell legt ebenfalls wert auf Sicherheit und bietet optional einen Fingerabdruckleser, einen Kontakt-Chipkartenleser (auch kontaktlos) sowie Intel-vPro und Windows Hello. Was das Design anbelangt, ist das Gerät aufgrund des Soft-Touch-Deckels aus Kohlefaser etwas interessanter als sein Bruder, das 7390 2-in-1. Das Gehäuse, das beinahe gänzlich mattschwarz ist und vorne spitz zuläuft, wirkt in seiner eleganten Schlichtheit fast generisch. Es fügt dem schwarzen Viereck mit silbernem Dell-Logo etwas Konsistenz hinzu. Unter dem Deckel verbirgt sich ein 13,3-Zoll-Bildschirm mit Full-HD-Auflösung und dünner Einfassung. Das Kunststoff-Deck beherbergt eine Island-Style-Tastatur sowie einen Fingerabdruckscanner. Mit einem Gewicht von 1,3 kg und einer Dicke von 1,8 cm ist es sowohl schwerer als auch umfangreicher als so mancher Konkurrent. Beispielsweise wiegt das ThinkPad X1 Carbon (6. Generation) 1,13 kg und ist 1,5 cm dünn. Obwohl Dells Geräte so entworfen sind, dass sie kleinere Stürze, Erschütterungen, Feuchtigkeit, und Sand verkraften, können besorgte Nutzer dennoch das ProSupport-Plus-Service beanspruchen, das für eine zusätzliche Gebühr durch Unfall verursachte Schäden repariert und noch andere Dienste bietet.

Der 13,3-Zoll-Touchscreen des Latitude mit 1080-p-Auflösung ist lebhaft, doch einige andere sind heller. Das Latitude bedeckt 132 Prozent des sRGB-Farbraumes und schlägt somit den Premium-Laptop-Durchschnittswert von 108 Prozent locker (ebenso das EliteBook mit 109 Prozent, das X1 Carbon mit 129 Prozent und das XPS 13 mit 118 Prozent). Die 92% Helligkeitsverteilung ist gut und macht sich bei schwarzen Hintergründen bemerkbar, die insgesamt einheitlich und gesättigt erscheinen. Dell hat zu einem matten Touchscreen gewechselt, der im Gegensatz zu spiegelnden Displays Licht nicht reflektiert. Mit einer Intel-Core-i7-8650-CPU, einer 256-GB-PCIe-NVMe-SSD und 8 GB Arbeitsspeicher hat das Latitude keine Probleme mit Multitasking: 25 Tabs in Google-Chrome schafft es mühelos. Die Intel-Core-i7-CPU unterstützt auch vPro für Fernverwaltung des Notebooks durch IT-Experten. Dell benutzt eine Hynix-M.2-SSD mit einer 256-GB-Kapazität, die über SATA-III verbunden ist. Für Grafikleistung sorgt eine Intel-UHD-Graphics-620. Die GPU eignet sich nicht für aktuelle und/oder grafisch anspruchsvollere 3-D-Spiele. Die eingebaute 720-p-Webcam ist für Konferenzgespräche gut genug, obwohl die Bildqualität nicht die beste ist. Der Laptop hat eine für ein Business-Notebook gewöhnliche Auswahl an Anschlüssen. Links befinden sich eine Thunderbolt-3-, eine HDMI-, eine USB-3.0-Schnittstelle, und ein Chipkartenleser. Dazu kommt noch ein tonnenförmiger Netzanschluss.

As we said at the beginning of the review, we are not entirely happy with Dell’s decision to pair this notebook with Comet Lake-U processors. However, even though it doesn’t provide great performance, you have efficiency. Our unit got 17 hours of Web browsing out of the battery. And if you are on a movie marathon, it will last you about 15 hours and 50 minutes. Yep, this translates into roughly two light workdays of use.

Snazzy consumer laptops like the Dell XPS 13 aren't often issued to employees at large enterprises. This occasionally comes up as a point of consternation when toters of bulging, black, IT-approved ThinkPads gaze enviously at the borderless 4K displays and svelte chassis of laptops that managers won't let them use for work. To appease that envy, Dell has added plenty of innovative, user-friendly features to its latest Latitude 7320 (starts at $1,559; $1,964 as tested). Available as either a standard clamshell or the 2-in-1 convertible seen here, this machine offers IT-mandated Intel vPro manageability and SmartCard readers, but it also has employee-pleasing features like a sublimely comfortable keyboard, a sturdy chassis, and a sci-fi-worthy proximity sensor.

And this leads us to the carbon fiber chassis. It has a rubberized texture on top, which feels soft to the touch. We don’t know how it will fare down the line, but you will reap the benefits of the material, as the laptop weighs only 1.12 kg. So, the question here is – should you invest in this notebook. Honestly, it is not cheap, and it doesn’t bring any groundbreaking innovations to the table. However, if you seek stability in your daily business computing needs, the Latitude 13 7320 should be a good choice.

We’ve given the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable four stars, evidence that this is a solid effort from Dell in the Windows tablet PC space. As we’ve noted in our other tablet reviews, price matters. Even with the addition of the pen and keyboard, our review unit of the Latitude 7320 costs more than the comparable Microsoft Surface Pro 7+. From a performance standpoint, Dell’s tablet ranks about equal or slightly behind the Surface Pro 7+. Still, the Latitude 7320 is smartly designed, with a wealth of convenient hardware and software features that certainly make the tablet a pleasure to use. For that, we’re awarding the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable an Editor’s Choice award, as one of the PC tablets we’d recommend of this current generation.

Dell bietet Laptops an, die ich für verschiedene Einsatzbereiche eignen, z. B. Business-Laptops, Gaming-Laptops, Ultra-Portables und Workstations. Die Business-Notebooks von Dell aus den Latitude- und Precision-Serien sind eine Option für professionelle Anwender und Unternehmen.

i7-1265U: Auf der Alder-Lake-Architektur basierender High-End Mobilprozessor. Bietet 2 Performance-Kerne und 8 Effizienzkerne und kann 12 Threads gleichzeitig bearbeiten. Der maximale Turbo-Takt der P-Kerne beträgt 4,8 GHz.

In diesem Display-Größenbereich gibt es kaum noch Tablets. Für Subnotebooks ist es dagegen das Standardformat.

Der Vorteil von Subnotebooks liegt darin, dass das ganze Notebook klein dimensioniert sein kann und daher leicht tragbar ist. Das kleinere Display hat noch den Vorteil wenig Strom zu benötigen, was die Akkulaufzeit und damit die Mobilität weiter verbessert. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Lesen von Texten anstrengender für die Augen ist. Hohe Auflösungen finden sich eher bei den Standard-Laptops.

Eine Kaufempfehlung kann man nur mit viel Wohlwollen darin sehen, es sei denn es handelt sich um Websites, die generell streng urteilen.
