Motorola hopes the Edge Plus heralds a return to form. This first new flagship from Motorola in years sees the company rise to the competition in an attractive package that performs well across the board. There's one big problem, however, that holds it back.

The Motorola Edge Plus is a solid all-around flagship with booming speakers and a headphone jack audiophiles will love. But its cameras, battery and software are unremarkable, and it’s tied to Verizon, making it a tough sell compared to the Galaxy S20 and OnePlus 8 series.

Though a flagship smartphone (and priced accordingly), the Motorola Edge+ ranks as an uneven audio performer among its peers. Aspects of its playback performance are strong, such as its tonal balance, supported by good high-end extension and clear trebles, which add to its dynamics and attack. The lack of bass extension is a limitation, affecting timbre performance. As a recording device, the Edge+ loses ground against its competitors. Its good qualities — tonal balance and a natural rendering of voices, with good localizability — are countered by a number of issues, including below-average artifacts and volume performances. Both attributes are hampered by spectral and temporal artifacts in a high SPL scenario.

The Motorola Edge Plus has pretty much everything you'd hope for in a premium 5G phone: a Snapdragon 865 chipset, a giant battery, an OLED screen with a high refresh rate and multiple rear cameras with heavy-duty specs. Motorola took features found on other top-of-the-line Android phones, put its own Moto spin on them and built them all into one of the most wonderful Android phones I've tried in a long time.

The Motorola Edge Plus is the first phone Motorola's produced in years to compete with the leading flagship phones, and it's an impressive handset. With three rear cameras and a waterfall display, the Edge Plus is an impressive phone. It's only unfortunate that it's an exclusive phone to Verizon, which reduces its accessibility to those who, well, can only sign up to that US carrier. Pity.

At the end of the day, the Motorola Edge Plus is… well, excellent! It’s an absolute joy to use, it’s fast, the battery life is insane and the camera performance is good. It’s a reminder of the great legacy of Moto Droid phones and if you felt that Motorola has lost its mojo with Moto Mods in the past, and if you don’t mind a curved screen, the Edge Plus has got everything to remind you of the glory days of Motorola. It gets our big thumbs up.

With the Edge+, Motorola fans finally have a no-holds-barred premium option. The phone’s main camera can, for the most part, wear that mantle with pride: it captures highly detailed photos with low noise. Dynamic range is not as good as the best, but not bad, and despite some color saturation issues, few users should be disappointed with it.

Motorola has without a doubt created one of 2020’s best phones with the Edge+. It’s unfortunate that Motorola tied itself to Verizon and waited too long to commit to software updates, because I think most have already written this phone off. If you are on Verizon, I don’t think you should do that.

Motorola's flagship game appears to have gotten rusty over these past three years of keeping to midrangers only. The Edge+ misses the mark in key areas - maybe not by much, but it adds up. Absent camera modes coupled with unremarkable low-light output, display that is okay, but not great, anachronistically slow charging, no proper dust and water resistance - it's just a whole bunch of things that we can't overlook on a phone that is priced at €1200. At INR75K, it's a tough sell against a similarly priced Galaxy S20+ in India too and even though the Mi 10 Pro and the Find X2s aren't available there (yet?), it's not like the consumers in the country are starved for choice.

Moto is one of those companies that is just always around, for better or worse. Especially here in the US, their continued partnership with carriers like Verizon keep them at the forefront of a lot of users' minds. But the last few years have seen the company focus on affordable accessibility rather than true flagship prowess. We all know they're capable of it, but it isn't until now that we see just how much of an edge Moto could have. So, let's dive in — this is Pocketnow and I'm Joshua Vergara, what's going on everybody? This is the Moto Edge+.

In the mid- to low-end market, Motorola was one of the biggest fish in the sea. But now it’s swimming with sharks and needs to make a compelling argument that the Edge Plus can hold its own against juggernauts like Samsung, LG, and Huawei, along with newer companies like OnePlus and Google’s own Pixel lineups that have been steadily gaining traction in the United States.

On paper, the Motorola Edge Plus has everything it needs to compete with the best phones out there right now. The reality, however, is a little different. Motorola’s first flagship in years offers first-rate performance, clean software (once you get rid of Verizon’s bloatware) and some truly excellent battery life. Unfortunately, the phone’s marquee feature -- its spacious Endless Edge display -- feels like an example of style over substance, and could make the phone difficult for some to use. All told, the Edge Plus gets enough right to make it a competent flagship, but one that won't best its competition.

The Motorola Moto Edge+ is a sleek flagship with top-notch hardware. If you're looking for a phone with class-leading battery life and global 5G, look no further. If you're looking for a more durable device with better camera quality, you can wait for Verizon's 5G model of the Galaxy S20, due out soon, or spend $200 more on the Galaxy S20+, which also gets you a sharper display. The OnePlus 8 doesn't offer any significant advantages over the Moto Edge+, meanwhile, but it costs $200 less.

If you’re interested in the Moto Edge+ and you’re a Verizon customer -- especially if you live in one of Verizon’s few 5G mmWave markets -- then by all means, buy this phone. Otherwise, take a good look at the competition. There are a lot of solid 5G flagships at this price point today. Ultimately, making the Edge+ a Verizon exclusive was a mistake. Moto should have made this handset available unlocked and on multiple carriers. Instead, it chose to play it safe. So much for living on the edge.

Back in November Motorola resurrected one of the most iconic consumer products of all time with its new Moto Razr for 2020. The response was one of those rare thunderclap moments of universal jaw-droppage, from media and general consumers alike. If I were in charge of Motorola and saw that wave of misty-eyed adulation, I’d have redirected all my flagship efforts to folding phones, leaving the boring candybars to the low-end. Well … given how things have gone for the Razr in the time since, I guess it’s a good thing I’m not in charge of Motorola. Because for its first fully fledged flagship in years, the company is taking a more measured approach. The Motorola Edge+ is a curved-screen smartphone that prioritizes performance over aesthetics, power over gimmicks – a Moto Z or Moto Razr this is not. But after a few years effectively sitting on the sidelines of the high-end smartphone race, does Motorola have what it takes to make the Edge+ a winner? Find out in MrMobile’s Motorola Edge+ Review!

It's been four years since Motorola last launched a high performance flagship phone, but they used to be one of the top-tier android manufacturers (anyone remember the Droid line?) In the meantime Motorola has produced dozens of good but low-cost and power devices, but they're aiming for the top again with the Motorola Edge. Despite great specs, a unique wrap-around screen, and a big battery, the Edge+ is launching into a crowded field, and the $1,000 price tag isn't helping. There's nothing really wrong with it, per se, but for that price we expect a top tier phone, and with a middling camera and a few design quirks, it's hard to justify that expense, especially with the OnePlus 8 Pro starting $100 cheaper, and year-old Galaxy S10s available for half the cost. It's worth a look, but it's hard to recommend.

I know I don't have to tell you that lately these are some very odd times. Social distancing aside, from a tech perspective, this is the time when flagship killers decided to make a flagship. A time when the ultra-premium companies are doing more-powerful mid-rangers. And even the most popular brands are going Ultra, at least when it comes to their approach. Obviously no one could've prepared the world for what's currently happening, and proof of it is that back in early February, we got briefed about a product that was gonna be unveiled at MWC, and then that went south. And then delays kept coming and it is now officially two months after the original launch date was planned. This is the Motorola Edge+, the company's return into the flagship world, and also, kind of the flagship that a lot of people have been asking for, but not from the company we were expecting. I'm Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow and let's go hands-on.

Motorola Edge

The Motorola Edge is an affordable 5G phone that lasts long on a charge. However, there are more powerful devices for the same price that take better pictures too, making the Motorola Edge a solid choice rather than a standout.

An unlocked Motorola sub-flagship for $699? Yeah, sure. The incredible value for the Motorola Edge makes it hard to pass up, particularly if the price tags of some of today’s devices make you ill. Though I wish the cameras were slightly better, everything else about the Motorola Edge shines in a way that should appeal to the majority of consumers. While the Motorola Edge doesn’t quite have the specs of the Edge Plus, in this case the price more than makes up the difference. Specs aren’t everything, and the Moto Edge is the proof.

Overall, the Motorola Edge isn’t a bad pick if you’re after a sleek device with excellent battery life, great camera quality, and 5G functionality without spending a ton of cash. If Motorola is able to iron out issues with the gesture controls and touch rejection on the edge display, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The Motorola Moto Edge is a solid phone for people who want 5G for less than $1,000. It offers better 5G support than the OnePlus 8 for the same price, though the OnePlus 8 has a faster processor, so you need to decide which is more important to you. If you’re an AT&T customer, meanwhile, the LG Velvet offers many of the same features of the Moto Edge, as well as official water protection for $100 less. Ultimately, there’s still plenty of room in this price range for a 5G to come in and get things just right, but we're happy to see a solid new option in the form of the Moto Edge.

As a "value flagship," the Motorola Edge strives to deliver a flagship-like experience for considerably less money than its top-of-the-line Edge+ counterpart. For the most part, it succeeds with flying colors. The Motorola Edge has a gorgeous display, super-premium hardware, and performance and battery life that are every bit as good as much more expensive alternatives. Minus some disappointing camera performance and mixed feelings around its curved screen, the Motorola Edge is a stellar phone that's definitely worth your attention.

The Motorola Edge is an excellent device, and it's something that I'd be happy to keep in my pocket on the regular, if it had wireless charging. I can forgive that modest lack of performance by using a Snapdragon 765 instead of a Snapdragon 765G, but not having wireless charging is just something that I wouldn't put up with in a $699.99 phone.

Motorola makes a lot of phones at a lot of different prices, to the point where the lineups start to blur together. As a $700 phone, the Edge is certainly a better deal than its full-priced sibling, offering nearly comparable features and performance at a significantly reduced price. The current $499 price makes it an even better deal — one that starts to demand to be taken seriously as one of the better midrange phones around.

The Motorola Edge feels like a mid-range phone imitating a premium one, and it shows, with a few rough edges like a fingerprint sensor which isn’t the easiest to use, and cameras that take pictures which aren’t the best we’ve seen. However this is still far from your average mid-range phone, and it feels good in the hand and looks great.

Though it looks the same as the premium Edge Plus, the Motorola Edge lacks the power of its bigger sibling - and many similarly-priced rivals too. But what you won't get at such a cheap price is the stunning 6.7in OLED Endless Edge display. There's also a good, but not great, suite of cameras available and a decent 4500mAh battery that'll boast a full day of charge. It won't beat the competition in terms of performance, but it certainly looks better!

The vanilla Edge is great on that price, and we do recommend it. The Motorola's recent sabbatical from the upper mid-range tier could be the only thing standing in the way of the new Edge series. And that's why it just may take some time for people to regain their trust in Motorola's high-end phones.

Determined to put a lid on the ever-increasing 5G phone prices, Motorola opted for the next best alternative to Snapdragon 865 with its new Edge phone, and equipped it with the more cost-efficient Snapdragon 765 instead, Qualcomm's first integrated 5G chipset.

A flagship-level device with a meager 30W charging and awkward ergonomics can be a major turn-off for some buyers, while other aspects are simply in line with the competition, nothing ground-breaking. A competitive or more attractive price could have been a Hail Mary pass this device needed to stick out from its rivals, but unfortunately, this isn’t the case. Although there seems to be a major disconnect between Motorola’s goals in the smartphone market and its execution when it comes to the implementation of features, there is no doubt that the cameras are top-notch. The UI is clean and uncluttered, the display is good but unexceptional, and the battery life won’t leave Motorola users disappointed.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has some decent things going for it. Mainly the impressive 144Hz OLED display and powerful components resulting in top-notch performance. It's also still the case that opting for a Motorola handset gets you an almost stock Android experience with mostly useful additions. It might seem like a good choice then but the competitiveness of the wider phone market make the Edge 20 Pro seem lacking - especially with that 'Pro' moniker and the asking price of £649. When it comes down to it, the handset is missing too many flagship features for to justify this figure, including proper waterproofing, wireless charging and properly fast charging. Then there's the fact that the cameras are only really able to pump out high quality results in good lighting conditions. The fact is, you can get similar and more well-rounded phones at cheaper mid-range prices - the Google Pixel 6, Realme GT 5G and OnePlus Nord 2, for example - stopping the Edge 20 Pro scoring any higher.

The Edge 20 Pro is the current flagship device in Motorola’s Edge series, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and 12GB of RAM. Images can be stored on 256GB of internal memory and viewed on a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution. In the camera module the Edge 20 Pro deploys a large 108 MP primary sensor and combines it with an 8 MP 5x tele (with folded optics) and a 16 MP ultra-wide for zooming in and out. In video mode the primary camera is capable of recording clip with up to 8K resolution at 24 frames per second. At 4K and FullHD resolutions you can pick between 30 and 60 fps. This looks all good on paper, let’s see how the Motorola Edge 20 Pro performed in our lab and real-life testing.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is by all measures a well-balanced phone. It doesn’t stand out in any specific way, but that’s not necessarily a negative. The elegant design should have its takers and performance is solid enough for most users. The camera isn’t going to set benchmarks, but what’s here is good and more importantly, consistent for everyday use. Not every phone needs to push the smartphone gamut forward, and the Edge 20 Pro earns a recommendation for being a safe, consistent bet for most everyday users. It’s got all the essentials you could need, but it’s the careful and considered software additions that stand out and leave a lasting impression. However, this is only really the case for those in India. The equation changes quite a bit when you consider the breadth of options available in Europe and the Motorola Edge 20 Pro’s inflated price. The Google Pixel 6, in particular, gives you all the benefits of a clean UI and adds to it with three years of software updates, five years of security patches, and cameras that are hard to beat, let alone match.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is the series’ top-of-the-line smartphone. The Edge 20 Pro comes with some outstanding specs, including a 144Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, and a near-stock Android experience. These elements contribute to the Motorola Edge 20 Pro’s positive first impression. There are some more positive aspects to the phone. Its cameras perform admirably for a Moto smartphone, the high screen refresh rate makes motion look fluid (and outperforms many competitors), and the battery comfortably lasts a day of use. The Edge 20 Pro features a bigger battery than the standard Edge 20, with a 4,500mAh capacity that looks much better than the 4,000mAh of the non-Pro. There’s no super fast charging (the 30W fast charging is slow when compared to its competitors), no wireless charging, and no 3.5mm headphone jack. It also doesn’t have stereo speakers, which is a huge letdown.

Despite its decent treble reproduction, the Edge 20 Pro’s playback performance is heavily impaired by its single-speaker design, and a strong lack of bass and low-end extension. As a result, it isn’t ideal for playing music, watching movies, or gaming. As a recording device, due to an ill-adjusted noise reduction algorithm and uncontrolled sonic artifacts when recording in high sound pressure levels, Motorola’s latest top-of-the-line model isn’t ideal for recording in loud environments, and neither for meetings or memos. However, thanks to appreciable wideness, good localizability, and solid dynamic attributes, selfie videos fare noticeably better. All in all, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro consistently underperforms its predecessor, the Edge+, and isn’t a great choice if what you’re looking for is audio quality — whether for playback or for recording.

The Moto Edge 20 Pro could have been a hit, but it turned out to be just a good smartphone. Yes, it stands out with a decent set of cameras, including a periscope telephoto lens, which is not found in every smartphone. An ultra wide-angle autofocus that can shoot macro is also a useful thing. The 144Hz screen produces a wonderful picture. The Snapdragon 870 processor in combination with 12 GB of RAM provide excellent performance. The 4500 mAh battery is not huge, but the battery life is great. There is also a Ready For mode – not only wireless, but also wired, with the special cable included. For this price, there are no competitors with such functionality. However… the much more affordable Edge 20 also shoots well (you can do without the 5x zoom, the other cameras are the same), also works quickly, and has the same display. Its battery life is weaker. But it looks thinner, lighter and nicer. If I had a choice of these two models, then I probably would not overpay for the Pro one. The Zenfone 8 Flip costs the same or less, it is also powerful and interesting thanks to the rotating camera

Motorola Edge 20 is here to give the OnePlus and other phones in the segment a run for their money. The smartphone comes with many pluses, including an impressive AMOLED display that comes with a high refresh rate and a stunning design. The swiping and scrolling is extra fluid in the Edge 20 Pro because of its high refresh rate display. The performance of the smartphone is also commendable as you can throw pretty much everything at the Motorola Edge 20 Pro, and you would not be disappointed, thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. It can also be an excellent pick for hardcore gamers as the phone doesn’t heat up while playing. Coming to the camera, the camera sensors perform an excellent job as long as there is ample light. The camera performance deteriorates when the light is not enough. The battery also lasts a day if you are not a heavy user. So if you are looking for a smartphone that excels in almost every area, you can consider the Motorola Edge 20 Pro.

Motorola is targeting the Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000 market segment with its Edge 20 series. While the Edge 20 Fusion (Review) and the Edge 20 (Review) cater to the lower half of this segment, the Edge 20 Pro is shouldering the responsibility of the higher end. The Edge 20 Pro sports good hardware, and the software is free from bloatware. While battery life is better on the Edge 20 Pro than the Edge 20, its camera performance does feel lacking compared to some of the competition. With OxygenOS potentially no longer being an option for purists, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro does position itself right against the OnePlus 9R (Review).

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is not perfect, though the company’s vision holds immense promise – after all, who doesn’t like the ring of a flagship-tier handset with a stock-esque Android interface that’s void of any bloatware? To that note, the Edge 20 Pro performs well and doesn’t clog its interface with gimmicky features. The smartphone also ships with a gorgeous OLED display and charges relatively quickly too. It also helps that the device starts at Rs 36,999 in India, undercutting the likes of the iQOO 7 Legend by some margin. That said, the Edge 20 Pro’s thermals could’ve been better and the smartphone’s cameras, while good, are certainly not the best I’ve seen south of Rs 40K. Not to mention, performance fiends will find better value in devices like the iQOO 7 (review) and the Mi 11X (review) that retail for significantly less too. So, to conclude, the Edge 20 Pro is a compelling option and buyers up in arms about custom skins will find plenty to like here.

After spending some time with the Motorola Edge 20 Pro, I can say that it does pack in good hardware for the price. Its clean software is convenient to use, and overall, this smartphone could be a good alternative to the OnePlus 9R. Can the Motorola Edge 20 Pro beat the OnePlus 9R convincingly, in terms of actual usage, gaming performance, camera quality, and battery life? If you are curious, do stay tuned for the full review.

The headliner of all the Moto Edges this year, the 20 Pro does a lot of things right. It boasts a proper triple camera setup with a periscope tele camera, like the real flagships, something you can't find elsewhere at this price. The autofocusing ultrawide that doubles as a macro shooter is also a standout feature in this segment. All things considered, the Edge 20 Pro is at the top spot in the Moto lineup for a reason and also makes a strong case against competing efforts in the price range. Unless your specific preferences or priorities clash with one or the combination of its relatively minor shortcomings, we can't see why you shouldn't get one.

Motorola has committed a stroke of genius by chopping off a heel and cutting a toe, as far as individual specifications on the Edge 20 Pro are concerned compared to its predecessor. It has gotten the price so far down that it is hard to think of another mobile in the price range where you get just as much for your money. Well, the phone does not have the most elegant design, the screen resolution could be higher and it is especially annoying that it comes without built-in stereo speakers. But the performance is top notch, the camera works excellently, and then the Motorola Edge 20 Pro is the first mobile we have tested in the price range, that offers 144 Hz refresh rate. And the Ready For feature is just the icing that makes the overall package even more delicious. Hats off to the fact that Motorola has turned something resembling a disaster into being close to a hit.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a worthy processor, good cameras and a fairly long-lasting battery, which on paper combine to make it a capable device. However, it’s bulky and doesn’t sit comfortably in the hand, and it doesn’t have anything truly unique to offer, making it hard to recommend amid the multitude of similar devices in the competitive mid-range market.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro might be Motorola’s flagship handset for 2021 but it doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles you can get elsewhere. Despite that, the fast performance and long-lasting battery do make it a pretty convincing piece of kit. Plus if you’re someone who enjoys playing mobile games, then the massive display and 144Hz refresh rate are sure to make it an enjoyable experience. I wouldn’t say that this is by any means the perfect mid-range phone, and it’s definitely towards the pricier end of mid-range, but the Motorola Edge 20 Pro pleasantly surprised me with how well it performs across the board.

Motorola makes some compromises here and there to accommodate a 5x pericope zoom camera in the Edge 20 Pro. But if you’ve been waiting some time for a somewhat affordable phone to push this particular area of camera tech, you’re in luck. Just make sure you’re happy with the few things it doesn’t do quite as well first.

Considering the pros and cons of the new Motorola Edge 20 Pro smartphone, I can’t say that the device is a true flagship. But the current model cannot be called simple either. On the positive side, the Motorola smartphone stands out for its high-quality assembly and premium materials. Also, the device received a very bright, saturated OLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Other features include good performance thanks to the modern Snapdragon 870 5G processor and plenty of memory. In addition, the smartphone has good camera sensors that are capable of taking good pictures, both in the daytime and at night. At the same time, the disadvantages of this generation of the Edge 20 Pro smartphone can be attributed to this lack of a memory card slot and a headphone jack. In addition, I did not like that the device received only one speaker, that is, there is no stereo sound here.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro doesn’t set bold new quality standards in any area. It’s not the most stylish, you can get more power for the same money if you want it, and low-light pictures are far from best-in-class. However, it’s one of the few mid-range phone that offers just about every bit of the £1000+ phone experience, thanks to its super-zoom 5x camera. It’s one of the most expensive-to-implement pieces of tech – and one of the most fun to use, too. Don’t care about capturing high-up autumnal leaves from the ground, or papping cute daschunds from 20m away? You can get similar performance for less elsewhere. But we’re going to miss that zoom when the Motorola Edge 20 Pro goes back in its box.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is an awkward phone. The main issue is the hand-feel - it's far too big to use one-handed, and has an out-of-reach side fingerprint scanner and uncomfortable angular frame. The device has a fine chipset, cameras that are impressive for a Moto phone and lots of storage, but those traits don't mean much when the phone is annoying to hold.

As I mentioned earlier, it’s all about budget. If We want to buy the Motorola Edge 20 Pro phone, but budget can be an important consideration. If you can spend 60k, it’s a great phone. Perhaps the brand’s reputation has been degraded over the course of a few years, but it doesn’t seem like they’ve stopped themselves from making spectacular phones. It really proves when you see the power of the Motorola G10 below 10k or the Motorola Edge 20 Pro at 60k. With all the demanding features, from design to the processor to camera, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro proves to be a burning sensation among smartphone lovers. It looks like it was just made to meet your high demands. With that budget, you can compare this model with the Realme Q3 Pro Carnival smartphone as an alternative option under 20k.

The Moto Edge 20 is a middle child that manages to be more interesting than either of its siblings. Offering a big, bold screen, versatile cameras, good battery life and useful software, it does a lot to set itself apart from the competition. And at a reasonable price if you don't pay the full RRP. But for the lack of stereo speakers, the lack of any premium styling and inconsistent low-light camera performance, this would be an instant recommendation. Instead, it will serve as a great companion for most, but those who need the most power or the very best cameras should look elsewhere.

The Motorola Edge 20 is one of the few large-screen, mid-range Androids that is both thin and light. However, the camera, speaker and battery capacity are weaker than the competition’s, narrowing its appeal a little too much for comfort.

The first thing that drew me towards the Motorola Edge 20 is its flat-edge design, its slim form factor. Unlike a lot of phones nowadays that can be used as paperweights, or to hammer nails, the Edge 20 is delightfully lightweight. It also fits well in hands, and its flat edges mean it is unlikely to slip out. The phone has an impressive display with great viewing angles. On the performance front too, the Moto Edge 20 does not disappoint at all. You can throw whatever tasks you want to at the phone it will come out with flying colours. Even the camera in good light is lovely to use. But at the same time, there are aspects that I feel could have been better. Battery life is on the lower side compared to what others provide in this segment. The low-light performance of cameras is another pain point. I feel the mono speaker to holds the phone back. A stereo speaker setup here would have been great. Overall, I feel that the Edge 20 is one of the best in the segment but with a few misses.

Motorola Edge 20 is in many ways one of the interesting mid-range models. I appreciated it primarily for its great screen, providing a lot of space for work or using multimedia, great accessories supplied with the Moto application and pure Android, which ensured a high comfort of work. It's impossible not to pay attention to the slim design - Edge 20 is simply a very attractive device. The smartphone powers the new Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 778G, in addition, you can use the Ready For platform - this will allow you to work with the smartphone in desktop mode. The cameras won't let you down either. What can you complain about? First of all, the lack of a 3.5 mm mini-jack and the unimpressive battery capacity. Compared to the competition, the Edge 20 lacks stereo speakers or support for a microSD card. On the market Motorola Edge 20 will be a direct competition for models such as Samsung Galaxy A52 5G or A72, as well as Xiaomi Note 10 Pro and OnePlus Nord 2 5G.

The second-generation Edge series feels like a departure from what the original meant for Motorola. But, actually, we can't be forlorn about a lack of a curved edge screen because, well, nobody really needs one of those. Besides, the Edge 20's display - on account of its clarity, colour and refresh rate - is its standout selling point. Talk about flipping the story on its head. In many ways the Edge 20 is a refreshing mid-range choice: it's not a giant overthick slab that puts battery capacity ahead of aesthetics; it's not got bloated software that causes issues with the basics; it's not crammed with pointless cameras either. So much of the competition explores those gimmicks, but Motorola simply hasn't here. It would be easy to malign the Edge 20 for turning the series on its head. But, despite the competition being increasingly strong, consider this device for all its strengths in this section of the market and it's a genuine winner. You won't often find an untainted Android experience like this with a screen quite as super at this price point.

The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion has an SRP of PHP 16,995 making it really competitive, especially against devices like the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, if you’re into that stock Android experience. Overall, this phone got almost all the basics right except for the cameras where a few aspects can still be improved on. But besides that, this is surprisingly a bang-for-your-buck mid-tier smartphone from Motorola. You get that stunning OLED display, water-resistant body, deliverable performance, 5G connectivity, long-lasting battery life, and not to forget its Stock Android offering. Thumbs up on this one.

The sub-Rs. 30,000 smartphone market is now getting crowded with 5G smartphones from almost every mainstream manufacturer. Motorola has jumped into this segment with the Edge 20 which packs in a powerful Snapdragon 778G processor. This phone is primarily focused on aesthetics, and it is slim and light, but as a result its battery requires frequent charging. If you are looking for a slim smartphone, or one running bloatware-free Android, the Motorola Edge 20 is worth considering for the price.

The Moto Edge 20 is another affordable device from Motorola. In this price category, very few models have an OLED 144 Hz screen, so yes, for this hardware it's affordable. And in addition it has a neat design (the phone is light and thin), IP52 moisture protection, quite fast hardware, enough memory, impressive cameras, well-optimized Android and the Ready For option to use the smartphone as a wireless PC with a monitor or TV. The latter has no competitors, except for Samsung DeX, supported only by the flagships.

From September 2021, we have adjusted our ratings to give us more ‘headroom’ to recognise exceptional features and performance. Until now, 8/10 was considered a ‘pass’. It is now 6/10. If you compare the Edge 20 Pro with older smartphone reviews, reduce them by two points. The Motorola Edge 20 starts at a pass mark. Add the partial (no USB-C cable) implementation of ‘ready for’, its two Android version upgrades, a great (although not perfect) camera, solid battery life, excellent phone reception and support from Motorola Australia, and it is more than a match. It is only the IP52 rating that disappoints. If you have $699 to spend, there is no competition. It gets the tick.

The Motorola Edge 20 seems like the most balanced smartphone among the Edge 20 trio. It has the most reasonable pick of features - a 144Hz OLED, powerful but not overkill Snapdragon 778G 5G chip, a versatile triple camera going from 0.5x up to 3x, and a large enough battery with fast charging. The Edge 20 is not ideal - it doesn't have stereo speakers, the battery life is subpar, and the camera app and processing are in need of a few tweaks. But even that doesn't take away from the fact that it is the best offer within the Edge 20 trio, and among the best €500 phones you can get.

Motorola has made a pretty good-looking device that will undoubtedly give you a premium feel when using it. It is slim and lightweight, packs best in class high refresh rate display, good camera performance, and a near-stock Android experience. The design needs some improvement, like power and volume button positions can be a little lower. You also miss out on quality features like stereo speakers. It is also important to note that Motorola offers 5G bands, so you don't have to worry about whether your phone supports any particular 5G band or not. But with Motorola's track record of poor software updates to all its smartphones, you may have to consider the software part before buying this phone.

The Motorola Edge 20 is a tidy, competent mid-range smartphone with an unusually fluid 144Hz display. It isn’t quite as compelling a package as the OnePlus Nord 2, and it isn’t the outstanding value of the Poco F3, but it’s a classy alternative.

Well, the Motorola Edge 20 has a powerful Snapdragon 778G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and a 108MP main camera. These are pretty solid specs for a phone that only costs €499. But this phone isn't only good on paper. The Edge 20 impressed me with its smooth and non-problematic performance, great main camera, amazing display, and fresh design. All of this fulfills the recipe for the successful 2021 mid-range smartphone.

From your view of the camera, each section is beautifully crafted for the Motorola Edge 20 smartphone. As it’s a high-budget phone, you’ll get some decent specs with 5G support. Without a doubt, this is one of the best smartphones by Motorola. What worries you is the battery size, where all the features players need are present, but you’ll hardly get a full day of battery if you play games. While two other phones are coming in with decent capacity, the Motorola Edge 20 lags behind with less standard battery size. Without a doubt, if you can ignore the battery, you will certainly value its other features. If you want to compare with other phones, here is our recommendation, the Red Magic 6R smartphone would be a big competitor in this budget range.

The Moto Edge 20 Lite is a curious smartphone. While it has an attractive list of specifications, the competition completely outclasses it in terms of both performance and value. Despite this, it has a great screen, strong battery life and a useful user interface that lends it a strong sense of personality. Though it is let down by its cameras, the lack of stereo speakers and sometimes plodding performance, this is a charming handset to use. Though it won’t be the best pick for anyone in particular, for many people it will be just enough.

Creating a successful mid-range smartphone has never been an easy task. On the one hand, the current budget smartphones have more and more ambitions, on the other hand, the mid-price segment is one of the most competitive. If you were to compare the smartphones that belong to it, based solely on the specs, then the Motorola Edge 20 Lite would be easily outclassed by its rivals. There will always be more efficient models, with better cameras, with a better screen or more interesting equipment (e.g. realme GT Master, One Plus Nord 2, Poco F3 et al.). However, given the full package, Edge 20 Lite is a successful smartphone that has a lot to offer - as long as photographic opportunities aren't your priority. It has a great screen, strong battery, 5G support, good performance and useful software devoid of unnecessary applications.

The Motorola Edge 20 Lite is a decent, reasonably affordable 5G Android phone in most respects. It has a large OLED screen, clean software and good day-to-day performance. However, it costs more than the best of the value-packed competition, the camera fumbles its dynamic range processing, and battery life is shorter than expected.

The Motorola Edge 20 lineup is here, and the budget option of the bunch — the Edge 20 Lite — comes with a great screen, amazing battery life, good main camera performance, and a beautiful design. It fits perfectly among other options, like the Samsung Galaxy A32, Galaxy A42, and the OnePlus Nord N10. With a price tag of only € 369.99, the Edge 20 Lite is dangerously appealing. Don’t get me wrong, it definitely has its downfalls, a good example being its video shooting capabilities. However, considering the bang for your buck ratio we have here, the positives heavily outnumber the negatives. The display and main camera alone make this device a great choice for anyone on the lookout for a budget daily driver that will cover all the basics and go even beyond that.

There are three phones from the Edge 20 series and another one, Fusion, will be joining them soon. In this situation, it is very confusing which one to choose. Each phone has different features, the Motorola Edge 20 Lite offers a MediaTek Dimensity chipset for better performance. On the other hand, if you check the battery capacity, the Edge 20 Lite stays ahead of the game. If you’re into gaming, the Edge 20 Lite also delivers faster, quality performance and has a 90Hz refresh rate. Depending on your budget, each phone has the specialty of giving you the highest quality performance. If you are still confused and looking for an alternative option. With that budget, you can find the ZTE Axon 30 smartphone with better specs and performance.

Most of the attention-grabbing smartphones these days are at the extremes. There are ultra-premium devices that are interesting because they have everything but the kitchen sink, and on the flip side, decent budget phones are getting into impulse purchase territory. And then there's the vast, boring gulf between them known as the mid-range. Even when these phones are good, they rarely stand out from the crowd. That's the new Motorola Edge, which retails for $700. However, the Verizon-locked version will only run you $550. Moto might as well have made this phone a Verizon exclusive because there's no reason to buy it unlocked for $150 more. It's not an exciting phone, but it might be a good purchase if you're standing in a Verizon store.

The moto edge gen2 is a significant improvement over last year’s moto edge gen1. The camera prioritizes the most common use cases while system performance is much better. Motorola has worked on the right things. The design is agreeable, and the large display makes it an excellent entertainment phone that has very decent gaming performance. I like the fast display refresh rate and re-iterate my advice of using the 120Hz in “auto” mode rather than 144Hz. The $699.99 MSRP price makes it significantly more affordable than the Galaxy S21, but there is plenty of potent competition in this price range. However, if you go to Motorola’s site or browse around (or on amazon), you can find it selling for $599.99 (we did at publishing time), making the moto edge much more attractive.

When Motorola released the original Edge in 2020, it didn’t have a lot of competition, especially if you wanted a phone with 5G connectivity for less than $1,000. In 2021, plenty of alternatives exist, many of which are simply better choices. The iPhone 13 (an Editors' Choice award winner) and the Samsung Galaxy S21 are our recommendations in this price range, with better cameras, sharper displays, faster performance, and superior software upgrade policies. If you're looking to spend less, meanwhile, the Pixel 5a has better cameras and software for just $449. The 2021 Moto Edge is a fine phone, it just no longer stands out.

The Motorola Edge (2021) is a puzzling device. It’s clearly a step up from Motorola’s low-to-mid-tier G series devices and yet it fails to advance the flagship Edge nameplate in a meaningful way. Perhaps the most glaring omissions as far as features are concerned would be wireless charging and a higher level IP rating. The competition often also offers higher quality metal components, stereo speakers, and better cameras. Likewise, while the design is standard fare for the price point, I think Motorola made an error by dropping the metal framing for plastic. The experience of holding and using the phone simply can’t match metal-clad handsets. Motorola’s phone does have a few things going for it. First there’s the generous and sharp screen, the killer battery life, and leading connectivity suite (as long as you’re on Verizon or T-Mobile for 5G). The software story is good enough for the price tag and Motorola’s My UX additions are tasteful and genuinely helpful. The best value here is likely for Verizon customers.

That lower Verizon price isn't enough to best the Pixel 5a, which is $100 less. Even if the phones were priced the same, I'd still suggest the Pixel over the Edge, but the Pixel isn't being sold by Verizon. So maybe if you feel strongly about going through the carrier, the Motorola Edge could be a good deal. There are certainly things to like about this phone including the stellar battery life and smooth 144Hz refresh rate, but it's behind on a lot of other features like camera performance and update support. Motorola's launch sale for $500 was a better deal, but that's conspicuously gone now that the carrier variant is available. Motorola's 2021 Edge is not a flagship phone, and buyers will be content with it if they don't go in expecting a flagship. It's a big screen with a lightweight plastic body wrapped around a sizeable battery. No more, no less. It carves out a very small niche for itself, but spend a little more or a little less, and I think you'll get more for your money.

This year's Motorola edge is a mixed bag of improvements and let-downs. On one hand, the new 144Hz display feels even smoother than last year's 90Hz panel, but because it's an LCD panel, it just doesn't look as good as last year's OLED one. Likewise, the cameras have seen a substantial hardware upgrade, and even the software feels a bit more intelligent, but the results don't match what's on paper. At $500, the Motorola edge is a fine purchase for someone who wants a phone that'll last two days on a single charge and still perform as well as they'd expect from a modern smartphone. Motorola's software experience is as clean and useful as ever, with plenty of notable features that make everyday use more convenient. If anything, Motorola's problem is that the competition is so fierce these days — especially in this price range — and that's what makes it harder to recommend Motorola this year.

A Motorola spokesperson told Engadget the company plans to support the 2021 Edge with two OS upgrades and two years of security updates. That’s a significant change from its predecessor, which only got one Android update. When you add that to all the hardware updates the 2021 Edge features, it’s a far more compelling phone than its predecessor and an easier recommendation. For the time being, you can get the unlocked 256GB model for $600. It will eventually cost $700. On October 14th, Verizon will also start selling a 5G UW variant that will go for $550. At $600, the Moto Edge is a good option if you don’t mind sacrificing on camera quality and can live without wireless charging. It’s $150 more than a device like the Pixel 5a, but you’re getting a phone with a better display, faster processor and bigger battery. Even at $700, it still represents good value with specs comparable to devices like the OnePlus 9. It’s not without its flaws, but it’s still one of the best mid-range phones on the market.

The is Motorola Edge (2021) smartphone is offering a unique design, better camera, modern processor, and huge battery at a high budget price. Most features are updated compared to the original Edge series. You won’t see a boring and bland design with this phone. As it’s coming at such a high price point, there should be wireless charging, a reverse charging feature that the device doesn’t offer. But the latest release is definitely a good successor as it could challenge some of the big names in the industry. This Motorola Edge (2021) 5G phone is only available in a certain region, smartphone lovers around the world may miss an attractive smartphone launched by Motorola. Whether you’re thinking of alternatives or big competitors, we always have recommendations. At the same price, we think the Xiaomi Poco F3 GT 5G could be a strong competitor or you can go for the Moto Edge 20 Fusion.

After a few years of sticking to the mid-range, Motorola reentered the flagship space last year with its Edge series of smartphones. This year, the Lenovo-owned company is refreshing the Motorola Edge (a new Edge+ could come later), and the new phone is certainly an interesting device. The Motorola Edge (2021) packs a 144Hz display, a 108MP camera, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G processor. The launch event for the phone was held at Yankee Stadium, and after the event, there were demoes featuring five-time All Star Bernie Williams and first-ballot Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera. Journalists were invited to stay for the game after, but we weren’t given review units, so there won’t be camera samples from the game (I used the Pixel 5a for that). Oddly, we also weren’t allowed to have laptops in the stadium.

If you’re looking for a 5G-capable mid-range handset, then the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is a decent option. Its 108-megapixel rear sensor takes detailed shots up close and a 5000mAh-capacity battery means you can quit rushing to charge your phone every day. What’s more, the handset’s large 6.7-inch OLED display is roomy, and the display’s 90Hz refresh rate keeps the visuals smooth. Motorola’s Edge 20 Fusion also benefits from plenty of software enhancements that make best use of its hardware configuration. This includes a neat app that easily connects your phone with your PC, making file sharing no chore. Motorola’s Edge 20 Fusion has a long battery life, 5G capability, fast processor and a rear-facing camera that can take detailed shots at close range. These factors add up to make it an all-round performer.

Our review of the Edge 20 Fusion shows that this is a big improvement over the previous mid-range offerings Motorola had in the Philippines. Aside from a better design, the biggest improvements the Edge 20 Fusion has to offer are with the cameras and the well-optimized Dimensity 800U processor. With all the good things about the Edge 20 Fusion, Motorola’s biggest challenge is getting a good slice of the mid-range market. Motorola is not as popular as other phone brands in the Philippines, so it all boils down to how they market the Edge 20 Fusion in order to showcase it as an underrated-yet-compelling mid-range 5G offering.

Does the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion have the oomph factor to edge out the competition? I am of the opinion that the device does make an impressive statement with the specs on board. It certainly bodes well for Motorola as a value-for-money proposition. There is no denying that the Edge 20 Fusion has a reasonably good design, a decent AMOLED display, cameras that speak for themselves in daylight, decent performance, clean software, and a lasting battery. Could improvements have been made for better low-light shooting? Definitely. Is the lack of stereo speakers an issue? I think so. Can the screen be brighter? I would’ve liked it. These are minor roadblocks over an otherwise impressive mid-range attempt by Motorola and I’ve no problem in recommending the device to users who would like a clean software experience while not compromising on vital aspects of a smartphone experience.

As the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion smartphone comes with an awesome design and camera. The main selling point of this model is obviously the camera. With a 108 MP primary camera, it feels like you have a DSLR in your hands. No doubt about its image quality. Even the chipset is also a powerful addition to this device. If you are looking for a mid-range smartphone, the Moto Edge 20 Fusion might be one of the best options for every user but there are some limitations. If you are looking for an alternative option for the same budget, you can check the Redmi Note 10T smartphone. Otherwise, the Motorola Edge 20 is a smart choice.

Motorola has done a fabulous job with the Edge 20 Fusion. The smartphone costs Rs 21,999 but comes with a great camera, interesting specs. In terms of performance also there were no visible lags that could put off a user. The display has great viewing angles, and if you are a gamer, you would probably enjoy your game time. The smartphone does not heat up unnecessarily. The battery also can go on for over a day on a single charge. Plus, Motorola comes with Stock Android UI, which keeps the annoying notifications from bloatware at bay. There are too many reasons for you to buy the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion if you are looking for a solid mid-ranger. However, I do wish the low-light camera of the smartphone was good as the rest of its features.Live TV

The sub-Rs. 25,000 segment is quite popular among consumers who want better features and performance. This segment earlier consisted of older smartphones at discounted prices but things have changed now with recent models such as the OnePlus Nord CE 5G (Review), Samsung Galaxy F62 (Review), and Realme X7 5G (Review). The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is now a contender here too, and its Rs. 21,499 starting price makes it accessible to even those who are willing to stretch a little bit over an initial Rs 20,000 budget. This smartphone packs in powerful hardware plus a clean near-stock Android UI which will appeal to purists. Motorola has also managed to undercut the OnePlus Nord CE 5G by Rs. 2,000, making the Edge 20 Fusion an easy smartphone to recommend for this price.

Conclusions are subjective in many cases. Motorola Moto Edge20 Fusion is surely a must-buy if you want a stock Android without paying double the amount for Pixel devices and you don’t really get well with Nokia devices. There are some fluid specifications onboard the Edge 20 Fusion including an IP52 rating, a 10-bit AMOLED panel, a Dimensity 800U 5G SoC which is essentially an SD778G 5G, as well as a wholesome battery. Don’t forget the 108MP primary cam at the back which is a USP as well. Overall, the phone is brilliant in many ways. However, it does have its share of cons such as the device has a smaller ultrawide snapper, there’s no HDR support for Netflix, camera performance can be a bit better and the phone uses a side-mounted FPS instead of a UD FPS which is a norm with devices with AMOLED panel. All in all, it is a good buy at Rs 21,500/- (base model). You have choices like Xiaomi Mi 10i and OnePlus Nord CE, however, both the devices have a custom UI.

One noteworthy software feature on the Edge 20 series is called Ready For. This allows you to connect the smartphone to an external display to use all your apps and games on a big screen. Ready for PC lets you connect your smartphone to a Windows PC, but you'll need a companion app for that. I will be testing this during the full review.. If you are in the market for a smartphone with clean software and capable hardware, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion does show some promise. But how does it fare against the competition? Stay tuned to Gadgets360 to find out.

The Moto Edge 5G UW (2021) may be a decent phone: its unusually high 144Hz refresh rate on the LCD screen works great; and it has two days of battery life, with a camera that can handle low-light photography if you can get it to focus. But that’s no longer enough to be competitive in the midrange phone race. Unless Verizon or Motorola further drop its price, I find it hard to recommend the Moto Edge over others that offer a better value. For the price of the 256GB Moto Edge, you might as well get the unlocked Google Pixel 6 instead. It features a faster processor, faster and sharper cameras, and a more energy-efficient battery. While the $599.99 Moto Edge offers double the onboard storage as the base Pixel 6, its flagship-class components and early access to Android software and security updates make it the better investment in the long run.

On many fronts, the Motorola Edge 5G UW impressed me. The phone was reliable, lasted all-day, felt good in the hand, and offers a solid camera performance. It even offers fast 30W charging speeds, which not even Samsung’s flagship phones provide, so that’s a definite win. For the most part, I have no qualms with this phone, and definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a sub-$600 phone. Of course, that’s only if you can’t spring the extra $50 for the Pixel 6.

If you've overlooked Motorola's higher-end phones in the past, the Motorola Edge 5G UW does a very good job at trying to regain your attention. Improvements to the main camera impress, and even if this can't topple a premium camera phone like the iPhone 13, it's a vast improvement over the previous Motorola Edge. I'm also impressed by how quickly the phone recharges. The 144Hz refresh rate is probably a step too far, given the impact it has on what would have been solid battery life — especially when a 120Hz refresh rate would have been more than enough at this price point. I also think the lone speaker detracts from what would otherwise be an enjoyable gaming experience on an affordable phone. It's the affordability that ultimately wins the day for the Motorola Edge 5G UW.

The Motorola Edge (2021) and Motorola Edge 5G UW are solid phones that boast premium features and a reasonable price. The phones are part of Motorola's 2021 premium lineup. Up to this point, the Chicago-based company, which is owned by Lenovo, has spent most of 2021 launching a slew of sub-$500 phones in the US. These include the Moto G Stylus 5G, Moto G Power and Motorola One 5G Ace. The Edge (2021), announced in August, is defined by simplified improvements. The curved display is gone and replaced by a decidedly flat one with a 144Hz high refresh rate. The glass back has been swapped out for a lighter plastic one with a striking blue finish that, almost hypnotically, changes depending on how it catches the light. A new software feature called Ready For lets you wirelessly connect your phone to a TV or monitor.

The Motorola Edge 5G UW is a solid midrange handset that excels in some areas and not as much in others. It lost the fancy curved-edge OLED display that the previous model had, but the IPS LCD it does have looks fantastic and boasts a truly impressive refresh rate. Overall performance is great, battery life is exceedingly long, and the camera performance is decent enough in most lighting conditions. This is one of the best affordable 5G phones of the year, with a higher refresh rate and bigger battery than other handsets in that category. The bottom-firing speaker could use an upgrade, but Verizon Adaptive Sound adds an extra dimension if you connect Bluetooth headphones or a speaker. I’d also prefer to see wireless charging in a phone at this price point, and the camera performance does suffer in low light, all of which does hold this phone back a bit.

Of course, compared with common UI systems, MyUI 3.0 still has subtle differences in operating logic. It still takes time to adapt to the first use, but in addition to the minimalist design and smooth speed, MyUI 3.0 is functional and localized. It has also reached the mainstream level. Blessed are those who like the native-style system. The camera module equipped with Howe OV50A shows a very high level of color reproduction, and the details are also remarkable. Still, when shooting at night, the overall image of the phone is not as brilliant as during the day, and the macro is also satisfactory. Of course, moto edge X30 has such a performance that it is already very rare at this price. In general, moto edge X30 fired the new Snapdragon 8 with its super cost-effective. Still, it is not only cost-effective, but it is also remarkable in terms of screen, performance, camera, and system experience. Motorola is still trustworthy. If you need a great value and balanced flagship phone, the moto edge X30 must not be missed.

The Motorola Edge X30 smartphone is one of the exceptional deals for 2021, but as we are entered in 2022, we will see several new and powerful phones that will offer the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and more exciting features. For now, considering the overall value and attributes of the Edge X30, it can still give tough competition to the Pixel 6 in terms of processing power. But, it might not be par with the camera technology. Overall, if you are looking for a smooth experience and robust performance, you can check out Motorola Edge X30. Moreover, the display and UI attributes won’t disappoint your feelings and provide you with an immersive experience. Nonetheless, you can also go for alternative options such as the Motorola Moto G200 that arrives with awesome specs and camera features.

The Motorola Edge X30 is a flagship killer phone that was launched in December 2021 with a $650 (Rs 49,000 in India) approx. price tag. Besides this, it’s the first smartphone that comes with a 4nm Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset under the hood, its performance level is quite high, while the Adreno 730 works pretty decent. Even though the phone offers a 6.7-inches OLED display, the fingerprint is present on the side panel. Despite that, you are getting the best treatment of 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+ content, 700 nits display, and many more things. Moreover, you can choose between the under-display camera variant or the normal variant too. In terms of the software layering, Motorola comes up with the Android 12 and MYUI 3.0 that allow users to push the limits of customization while making the bloatware at the bay. However, you won’t find a 3.5 mm jack or secondary storage here, but the NFC enable features and robust 5G connectivity saves the day. The camera section offers decent photos with a 50MP primary and 50MP ultrawide shooter, and also got a 2MP macro.

Finally, you have to understand the overall specs of the Motorola Edge S30 and find out the value of this smartphone. The key selling point of the Edge S30 would be its astounding features and specs, while the 5G connectivity gives a competitive edge over other competitors. Although it only lacks the NFC features, else everything about this phone is great. On the other hand, as an alternative option, the Xiaomi 11T Pro can give tough competition to the Edge S30. Though the overall experience of the Xiaomi 11T Pro will be superb, the perspective can vary from user to user.

The Motorola Edge S30 is a downgrade version of the Motorola Edge X30, similar to that, the phone was released in December 2021, and the price was around $320 (Rs 23,899 in India) approx. putting this phone into the decent mid-range category. As for the primary features, the phone offerings this year’s second most famous Snapdragon 888+ 5G chipset with Adreno 660 graphic unit. The UI experience would be different since it acquire Android 12 based on MYUI 2.0 interface. In terms of the display, you are getting a standard 6.8-inches IPS LCD that offers an astounding 144Hz refresh rate and HDR 10 content support. Yet, the photography section leads to decent results since the phone provides a 108MP triple camera setup that includes a 13MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth that can record up to 4K with HDR10+ and gyro-EIS support.
