Der AMD Ryzen 5 1400 ist ein Desktop-Prozessor mit 4-Kernen und Hyperthreading (SMT). Anfang 2017 ist er der schwächste Ryzen 5 Prozessor, mit 65 Watt TDP jedoch ebenso hoch spezifiziert wie z.b. der Ryzen 5 1600 6-Kerner.
Der Ryzen 5 1400 taktet mit 3,2 GHz Basistakt und kann per Turbo auf bis zu 3,4 GHz takten (maximal 2 Kerne) bzw per XFR auf 3,45 GHz (ebenfalls maximal 2 Kerne). Bei Last von 3-4 Kernen können maximal 3,2 GHz erreicht werden.
Bei Spielen kann der auf die Zen Architektur basierende Prozessor nicht vollends überzeugen. Fehlende Anpassungen der Spielehersteller sind laut AMD hieran schuld.

Der AMD Ryzen 3 2200G ist ein Desktop-Prozessor mit integrierter Vega Grafikkarte. Der SoC beinhaltet 4 Zen Kerne (Quad-Core CPU, ohne SMT / Hyperthreading) die von 3,5 - 3,7 GHz getaktet werden. Der TDP ist mit 65 Watt spezifiziert. Der L3-Cache beträgt beim 2200G 4 MB. Weiters ist eine Radeon RX Vega 8 getaufte Grafikkarte mit 8 CUs (512 Shader bei maximal 1100 MHz) integriert. Der integrierte Speichercontroller unterstützt maximal Dual-Channel DDR4-2933.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700U ► remove from comparison
Der AMD Ryzen 7 2700U ist ein Mobilprozessor für schlanke Notebooks. Der SoC beinhaltet 4 Zen Kerne (Quad-Core CPU). Der TDP ist konfigurierbar zwischen 12-25 Watt (15 Watt nominell) und daher eignet sich die APU auch für schlanke und leichte Notebooks. Die integrierte Radeon RX Vega 10 bietet 10 CUs (640 Shader) mit bis zu 1300 MHz.
Die Leistung der Zen Kerne ist laut AMD deutlich besser als bei den Kaby-Lake Refresh Prozessoren (wie dem Core i7-8650U ). Damit sollte die CPU-Performance für alle Anwendungen ausreichend sein.
