Sie bietet 20 Kerne bestehend aus 8 schnellen Performance Kernen mit bis zu 5,2 GHz und 12 der 16 kleineren Effizienzkernen mit bis zu 4,5 GHz Taktung. Die CPU kann auf 30 MB L2-Cache und 36 MB L3-Cache zugreifen und ist spezifiziert mit einem TDP von 55 Watt.
Der SoC integriert eine kleine dedizierte NPU namens AI Boost mit 13 TOPS (Int8) und unterstützt optional vPro Essentials. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt bis zu 192 GB DDR5-6400 (Dual Channel, ECC optional). Als integrierte GPU (iGPU) kommt eine kleine Intel Graphics genannte Grafikkarte zum Einsatz die vier Xe-Kerne bietet mit 300 - 1850 MHz.
Performance - High End
Durch die verbesserte IPC der Kerne (vor Allem der Effizienzkerne), sollte die CPU sich knapp hinter oder auf dem Level des Raptor Lake Core i9-14700HX (8 + 12 Kerne, max 5,5 / 3,9 GHz) einreihen. Dadurch eignet sich die CPU auch für anspruchsvolle Aufgaben wie High-End-Gaming und Content Creation hervorragend.
Herstellung - TSMC und Foveros
Die Arrow Lake-HX Chips basieren auf die Desktop Arrow Lake-S Chips und werden aus mehreren Chiplets zusammengesetzt. Der CPU-Teil wird bei TSMC im modernen N3B (3nm) Prozess gefertigt, Die GPU kommt ebenfalls von TSMC im N5P Prozess. SoC und I/O Tile werden im TSMC N6 Prozess gefertigt. Der Basis-Tile wird von Intel im 22nm Prozess hergestellt und trägt danke Foveros 3D Packaging die einzelnen Chiplets.
Intel Core i7-13650HX ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core i7-13650HX (in Leaks auch i5-13650HX) ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der neuen Raptor-Lake-Architektur für große und schwere Notebooks. Die CPU wurde Anfang 2022 vorgestellt. Die insgesamt 20 Threads unterteilen sich in P-Cores und E-Cores, die wir bereits von Alder-Lake her kennen. Der 13650HX bietet 6 Performance-Kerne (P-Cores) mit Hyperthreading die mit 2,6 GHz (Basistakt) bis 4,9 GHz (Einzelkern-Boost) takten. Die 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Cores) bieten kein Hyperthreading und takten von 1,9 - 3,6 GHz.
Die neue Raptor Lake Architektur bietet im Vergleich zu Alder Lake verbesserte P-Cores (Raptor Cove Architektur mit mehr Cache), mehr E-Cores (selbe Gracemont Architektur) und höhere Taktraten dank des verbesserten Intel 7 Prozesses. Weiters unterstützt Intel bei den Topmodellen nun schnelleren DDR5 Hauptspeicher (bis 5600 MHz bei den i9, jedoch nur 4800 MHz beim 13650HX).
Wie auch der Intel Core i5-12650HX bietet der Intel Core i7-13650HX eine integrierte Grafikeinheit . Als Basis dient weiterhin die Intel Iris Xe-Architektur. Rein leistungstechnisch hat sich bei der neuen Intel UHD Graphics (16 EU) aber nicht viel verändert.
Der 13650HX wird im weiter verbesserten 10nm FinFET Verfahren bei Intel gefertigt (Intel 7 Prozess) und ist spezifiziert mit 55 Watt Base Power und 157 Watt Turbo Power.
