AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX
Der AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX ist ein High-End- Notebook-Prozessor der Dragon Range Serie mit 16-Kernen und Hyperthreading (SMT), womit dieser in Summe bis zu 32 Threads gleichzeitig verarbeiten kann. Die CPU nutzt die neue Zen 4 Architektur für die 16 Kerne und taktet diese von 2,5 GHz (Basistakt) bis zu 5,4 GHz (Einzelkern-Boost). Die CPU bietet 16 MB L2-Cache und 64MB L3-Cache (gesamt also 80MB Cache). Der 7945HX besteht aus drei Chiplets, zwei CCD-Cluster mit je 8 CPU-Kernen in 5nm (71mm²) und einen IO-Die in 6nm (122mm²) welche alle bei TSMC hergestellt werden.
Die Leistung des Ryzen 9 sollte vergleichbar mit einem Core i9-13900HX (24 Hybrid-Kerne, max 5.4 GHz) im Spitzenfeld der mobilen Prozessoren von 2022 sein. AMD selbst bewirbt einen deutlichen Vorsprung zum alten Ryzen 9 6900HX (8 Zen 3 Kerne, 4,9 GHz), der durch die zusätzlichen Kerne, verbesserte Architektur und höhere Frequenzen erklärbar ist.
Weiters integriert der Chip 4x USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbps) ports (kein USB 4), 28 PCIe 5.0 Lanes (für GPUs und SSDs), einen Dual-Channel DDR5-5200 Speicherkontroller und eine kleine AMD Radeon 610M Grafikkarte (2CUs, 400 - 2200 MHz).
Der R9 7945HX ist mit 55 Watt TDP spezifiziert und kann bis 75 Watt konfiguriert werden (cTDP).
