Die ARM Mali-T720 MP4 ist eine integrierte Grafikeinheit der Mittelklasse für Smartphones und Tablets, die unter anderem im Mediatek MT6753 zu finden ist. Neben OpenGL ES 3.1 beherrscht die GPU auch OpenCL 1.1 sowie DirectX 11 (FL 9_3). Je nach Bedarf kann die Mali-T720 von 1 bis 8 Kerne/Cluster skaliert werden.

Die MP4-Variante verfügt über 4 Cluster, die mit bis zu 600 MHz (40,8 GFLOPS) takten. Damit platziert sich die GPU etwas unterhalb einer Adreno 405 oder PowerVR G6200 und kann die meisten Android-Spiele in mittleren bis hohen Auflösungen flüssig darstellen.

In den meisten Fällen wird die GPU in SoCs der 28-Nanometer-Klasse verbaut und weist dort eine mittelhohe Leistungsaufnahme auf. Somit ist der Chip auch für kleinere Tablets und Smartphones geeignet.

Die ARM Mali-T720 ist eine seit 2014 erhältliche Grafikeinheit für Tablets und Smartphones. Neben OpenGL ES 3.1 beherrscht die GPU auch OpenCL 1.1 sowie DirectX 11 (FL9_3). Je nach Bedarf kann die Mali-T720 von 1 bis 8 Kerne/Cluster skaliert werden. Damit nennt sich die GPU dann z.B. ARM Mali-T720 MP2 (für die 2 Kern-Variante). ARM spricht auf der Produktseite von bis zu 650 MHz (in 28nm) bei der 8 Kern Variante (Mali-T720 MP8).

Die MP1-Variante mit nur einem Cluster erreicht in etwa das Leistungsniveau der älteren Mali-400 MP4 und bewältigt damit nur einfache Android-Spiele in niedrigen Auflösungen flüssig.

Entsprechend der Leistungsdaten sollte die Mali-T720 eine mäßige Leistungsaufnahme aufweisen, sodass die GPU auch für kleinere Tablets und Smartphones geeignet ist. Die Fertigung erfolgt je nach SoC zumeist in einem 28-Nanometer-Prozess.

Die ARM Mali-T760 MP4 (bzw ARM Mali-T764) ist eine seit 2014 erhältliche Grafikeinheit für Tablets und Smartphones, die unter anderem im Rockchip RK3288 SoC verbaut wird. Neben OpenGL ES 3.1 beherrscht die GPU auch OpenCL 1.1 sowie DirectX 11. Je nach Bedarf kann die Mali-T760 von 1 bis 16 Kerne/Cluster skaliert werden (siehe auch ARM Mali-T760 MP6).

Die von Rockchip eingesetzte MP4-Version verfügt über 4 Cluster, die mit bis zu 600 MHz (48 GFLOPS) takten. Anspruchsvolle Android-Spiele werden damit auf Displays mittlerer bis höherer Auflösung zumeist flüssig wiedergegeben.

Entsprechend der Leistungsdaten sollte die Mali-T760 MP4 eine mäßige Leistungsaufnahme aufweisen, sodass die GPU auch für kleinere Tablets und Smartphones geeignet ist. Die Fertigung erfolgt je nach SoC zumeist in einem 28-Nanometer-Prozess.
