Das Dell Inspiron 15 7559, auch bekannt als i7559, ist ein leistbarer Gaming-Laptop, der sich an den Technologie-Markt richtet. Leider trüben einige Macken den guten Ersteindruck.

The Dell Inspiron 15 7559 is a mid-range laptop (£999) attempting to bring a 4K display to the mass enthusiast audience. However, the Inspiron has solid foundations aside from its glorious 4K display. The Skylake Core i7-6700HQ is a very powerful CPU, providing great results across our tests, including SiSoft Sandra and Cinebench R15. It certainly wipes the floor with my desktop Core i3-4160. One area that could be enhanced is the system memory. Presumably to keep costs down, Dell use older DDR3 RAM (PC3-12800) in the Inspiron instead of newer, faster DDR4 memory. It is not a huge problem as the system still performs very well, but DDR4 support would help provide extra security for those looking for a ‘future-proof’ laptop.

This laptop has a fantastic keyboard and trackpad, great audio, and ran very well in our benchmarks. Think of it as the Honda Accord of laptops. For many buyers, that’s a very compelling offer.

Especially when said display is a beautiful QHD+ touch affair. Aesthetics aside, Dell’s other trick here has been its support of Linux on its hardware. Since its inception, the XPS 13 range has been available in a Developer Edition, which features identical hardware, but runs Ubuntu Linux.

The Kaby Lake + GTX 1050 Ti is a powerful combination for $800, battery running times are pretty good, thermals and noise are handled well and the looks will satisfy probably many people. I’d suggest considering this laptop in case it can be bought for a price of $700-$750 (1050 Ti version), but for $850-$900 it comes pretty close to the GTX 1060 3GB laptops which might have some other advantages like better connection ports selection.

It’s super affordable in most regions of the world and offers powerful hardware for the asking price but unfortunately for the OEM, there are other similarly priced rivals on the market delivering features that the Inspiron 7567 doesn’t. The main drawback of the machine is the lackluster TN panel which will be a deal-breaker for a lot of users. If you are able to spend a little bit more, we suggest that you consider the ASUS ROG Strix GL553VE or the more reasonably priced Lenovo Legion Y520. The GTX 1050 Ti configuration of the Aspire VX 15 from Acer is also a good option.

Bleibender Eindruck. Die Einstiegsversion von Dells Inspiron 15 Gaming-Laptop verzichtet auf die High-End-Komponenten. Das schlechte Display gibt es nach wie vor, doch die Leistung geht für den Preis vollkommen in Ordnung. Zudem bietet das Gerät längere Akkulaufzeiten als viele andere Laptops – egal ob Gaming oder nicht.

Dell Inspiron 15 7567-4414

Wer sagt, Gaming mit beschränkten Budget, das dennoch eine kompromisslose Augenweide ist, wäre unmöglich? Dell beweist mit der Einführung des Inspiron 15 7000, dass dies möglich ist. Es wird von einem Intel Core i5-7300HQ, 8 GB RAM, einer ultraschnellen 256 GB NVMe-SSD angetrieben. Die Hauptattraktion ist die Nvidia Geforce 1050Ti, die mit Nvidias zweitbestem Modell der 900-Serie, nämlich der Geforce 970M gleich auf ist. Letztere ist noch immer eine beliebte GPU, die schön-anzusehende Leistung bietet - inzwischen jedoch zu einem Bruchteil der Kosten. Das bedeutet, dass die meisten modernen Games bei High- und möglicherweise sogar Ultra-Settings eine solide Framerate von 45~50 fps beibehalten können. Dell hat das Inspiron 15 7000 implizit so gestaltet, dass es wie ein Gaming-Gerät aussieht, jedoch, anders als die Alienware-Produktlinie nicht zu ausgefallen oder knallig. Das ist gewissermaßen ein Vorteil, denn letzteres zieht zu den falschen Gelegenheiten die Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Zumindest für ernsthaftere User, die nebenbei spielen, sieht es professionell aus, ohne unnötig aufzufallen. Natürlich hat sich Dell, um die Kosten trotz hoher Leistung niedrig zu halten für ein Kunststoff-Gehäuse entschieden. Das soll nicht heißen, dass das schlecht wäre. Insgesamt ist das Gehäuse ziemlich solide und gibt nur minimal nach. In puncto Schnittstellen ist das Inspiron 15 7000 mit drei USB-3.0-Ports, einem HDMI-Port, einer normalen Audiobuchse und einem Kartenleser ausgestattet. Leider gibt es keinen USB-Type-C-Port, was bei einem Gerät im Jahre 2017 Pflicht wäre. Das Inspiron 15 7000 bringt verglichen mit seinen Konkurrenten etwas viel auf die Waage. Gemeinsam mit seinem Stromadapter wiegt es mehr als 3 kg. Ein guter Computer-Ruchsack ist also empfehlenswert, wenn man das Gerät transportieren möchte, ohne die Schultern zu sehr zu belasten. Das verbaute FHD-Panel nutzt die TN-Technologie. Es ist ein gutes Beispiel dafür, das man das bekommt, wofür man bezahlt. Es ist nicht fantastisch, jedoch dennoch attraktiv. Wollen Sie allerdings Inhalte erstellen, sollten Sie sich woanders umsehen, denn die sRGB-Abdeckung beträgt nur magere 67 %. Dell bietet ein optionales IPS-Panel an, doch damit könnten Sie die Preis-Leistungs-Schranke überschreiten, wofür dieses Basismodell kaum gedacht ist. Der verbaute Lautsprecher und Subwoofer liefern eine solide Audio-Qualität in den Mitten und Höhen. Dell hat also zumindest im Audiobereich nicht geknausert. Die Audioqualität kann, wenn gewünscht mit der mitgelieferten MaxxAudio Pro Software-Lösung verbessert werden. Dell hat gut daran getan, sich für eine einfache Tastatur zu entscheiden, obwohl sich das Notebook an Gamer richtet. Während Gigabyte oder MSI eigenständige Makro-Tasten liefern, erweist sich der Spruch „Einfach ist am besten“ hier als wahr. Schließlich will Dell eine Preisobergrenze einhalten. Mit einem Hubweg von 1,5 mm lässt es sich auf der Tastatur angenehm tippen, der dazu nötige Kraftaufwand ist aber eher hoch. Das hängt allerdings von den subjektiven Vorlieben des Users ab. Heutzutage entscheiden sich Hersteller eher für ein Clickpad und eine Touchpad-Kombination. Es kann etwas dauern sich daran zu gewöhnen, denn ohne eigenständige Maustasten kann es vorkommen, dass nicht alle Clicks registriert werden. Das Touchpad ist ziemlich groß - umso mehr für ein Notebook dieser Größe. Einige Aspekte, etwa Akkulaufzeit, sind für ein Gaming-Notebook nicht so wichtig. Doch das Inspiron 15 7000 schafft es hier mit erstaunlichen 11 Stunden und 23 Minuten im WLAN-Test zu beeindrucken. Das ist bei Gaming-Notebooks, die eher stromfressend sind, ziemlich ungewöhnlich. Das gilt allerdings nur für das TN-Modell, denn das IPS-Modell konnte nur 8 Stunden und 34 Minuten erreichen. Haben Sie nur wenig Budget, wollen aber dennoch Games mit hochwertiger Grafik spielen, können Sie mit dem Inspiron 15 7000 nicht wirklich etwas falsch machen. Mit angezogener Handbremse! Nachdem wir das Inspiron 15 mit Nvidias Max-Q-Technologie testeten, haben wir nun auch das Einstiegsgerät der Serie durch unsere anspruchsvollen Testparcours gejagt. Doch der Massenspeicher hinterlässt einen eher bitteren Beigeschmack.

Das Dell Inspiron 15 7577-0098 ist ein Gaming-Notebook mit einem erschwinglichen Preis. Günstige Gaming-Laptops sind durch ihre Mängel gekennzeichnet. Sie gehen Kompromisse bei einigen Komponenten ein, um solide Gaming-Leistung für einen niedrigeren Preis zu liefern. Das Inspiron 15 ist aufgrund des Designs, das einen Überschuss an Plastik in das Gehäuse steckte, größer als die meisten anderen 15-Zoll-Geräte. Die 2,64 kg bekommt man auch beim Transport zu spüren. Mit einer Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Grafikkarte mit Max-Q-Design, einem Intel Core i7-7700HQ Prozessor, 16 GB Arbeitsspeicher sowie einer 512-GB-SSD bietet das Inspiron 15 7577-0098 Leistung, die nicht das Budget sprengen wird, aber immer noch einige Spiele mit mittlerer Leistung bewältigen kann. Die 512-GB-SSD ist für ein günstiges Gerät erstaunlich schnell und übertrifft leicht die Schnelligkeit teurerer Gegenstücke. Die GTX 1060 und ihre Kühllüfter bleiben selbst unter schwerer Last ausreichend leise - dies ist dem Max-Q-Design zu verdanken. Was das äußere Design angeht, so bleibt Dell den scharfen, schrägen Kanten treu, die dem Inspiron seine charakteristische Optik und Haptik verleihen. Obwohl es nicht so schick ist wie die meisten Gaming-Laptops, sticht es aus einer Masse gewöhnlicher Business-Geräte doch hervor. Das schwarz-rote Design sieht schlicht genug aus, um nicht zu sehr aufzufallen, die rote Hintergrundbeleuchtung der Tastatur macht es aber dennoch zu einem Gaming-Notebook.

Das Inspiron 15 wurde mit dem üblichen Sortiment an Schnittstellen ausgestattet, es gibt drei USB-A-Anschlüsse, je eine USB-C- und HDMI-Schnittstelle, eine Kopfhörerbuchse, einen SD-Karten-Steckplatz, einen Ethernet-Anschluss, und, natürlich, ein Kensington-Schloss. Dieser Aspekt wird leicht vernachlässigt, um eine leistungsstärkere GPU einzubauen, ohne den Preis in die Höhe zu treiben. Leider ging Dell in diesem Fall etwas zu weit. Wenn man von Komponenten spricht, bei denen Hersteller gerne Abstriche machen, um die Kosten zu senken, dann denkt man oft an Lautsprecher. Erfreulicherweise erledigen die Lautsprecher des Dell Inspiron 15 7577-0098 den Job ohne größere Probleme. Bei hohen Lautstärken ist der Klang klar und laut genug, um einen Raum zu füllen. Das Dell Inspiron 15 7577-0098 ist der perfekte Gaming-Laptop für die Massen. Dedizierte Gaming-Notebooks können teuer sein und sind als seriöse Gaming-Geräte konzipiert - das Inspiron 15 ist ein normaler Laptop mit besseren Gaming-Fähigkeiten.

Simply, if you are into battery life and solid cooling performance, the Inspiron 15 7577 definitely is the choice for you. However, if image quality is your top priority, the Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition (VN7-593G) with full-fledged GTX 1060 goes around for just about the same price. A more gaming-optimized solution is the Lenovo Legion Y720 (although with unsatisfactory image quality again). You might want to consider the Acer Predator Helios 300, which sports a more powerful GTX 1060 but fails to impress with cooling performance. But in the end, it all goes down to what you are willing to sacrifice in this segment with GTX 1060 and 1060 Max-Q laptops and to this point, the best choice is probably the HP Omen 15 (2017) with GTX 1060 Max-Q, as long as you are willing to spend a little bit extra for the almost spotless IPS display (some of them ship with 120Hz refresh rate as well).

Inspiron is Dell's bread-and-butter brand, lacking the glamour of the higher-priced XPS line. Inspiron 7000 laptops, however, outrank their 3000- and 5000-series kin, making them the top of the mainstream, so to speak. The Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 ($1,359.99 as tested) has the flaw built into all 15.6-inch convertibles: namely, that it's heavy and unwieldy when folded into tablet mode. But it's an otherwise appealing machine that competes well with other big convertibles—even Dell's XPS 15 2-in-1, which has some advantages (Thunderbolt 3 ports, faster AMD-based graphics) but also costs a cool thousand bucks more as tested.

If you’re willing to drop an inch of screen real estate, the similarly priced IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is likely a better choice overall. That Editors’ Choice winner offers better performance for the money thanks to its AMD Ryzen processor, and it delivered longer battery life in our identical test. But if you're looking decidedly large-screen, this Dell entry will get you in the door (and get a tablet in your lap) for a bunch less money than deluxe models like the big-screen HP Spectre x360 15 or Dell's Black Edition version of this machine.

Combining great performance and a plethora of features, some of which you’ll find in more premium laptops, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 Black Edition (7506) is certainly a terrific mid-range proposition. However, it also costs just as much as some (admittedly lower-specced) high-end laptops, so only commit when the whole package proves to be the best value for you.

However, there are disappointing elements to the Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1 Black Edition as well. The keyboard and touchpad could use a rethink, and the decision to forgo an Nvidia graphics chip and an H-series Intel processor means that the Black Edition is underpowered compared with its competitors. Most people looking for a 15-inch convertible notebook would be better served by the Spectre x360 15.

Dell: Dell ist ein 1984 gegründeter US-amerikanischer Hersteller (Sitz Texas) von Computer-Hardware und gehört zu den grössten internationalen Herstellern sowohl in Bezug auf Marktanteile als auch hinsichtlich Notebook-Modellen. Die Produktpalette umfasst unter anderem Desktops, Notebooks, Speichersysteme, Monitore, Server, Drucker, Unterhaltungselektronik und Peripheriegeräte. Dell bietet Laptops an, die ich für verschiedene Einsatzbereiche eignen, z. B. Business-Laptops, Gaming-Laptops, Ultra-Portables und Workstations. Die Business-Notebooks von Dell aus den Latitude- und Precision-Serien sind eine Option für professionelle Anwender und Unternehmen.

2023 hatte Dell einen ungefähren Marktanteil von 17% am weltweiten PC-Absatz und war damit die Nummer 3 nach Lenovo und HP.

Für Gaming-Enthusiasten ist die Marke Alienware von Dell für Gaming-Notebooks vorgesehen.

Diese Klasse ist noch durchaus fähig neueste Spiele flüssig darzustellen, nur nicht mehr mit allen Details und in hohen Auflösungen. Besonders anspruchsvolle Spiele laufen nur in minimalen Detailstufen, wodurch die grafische Qualität oft deutlich leidet. Diese Klasse ist nur noch für Gelegenheitsspieler empfehlenswert. Der Stromverbrauch von modernen Grafikkarten in dieser Klasse ist dafür geringer und erlaubt auch bessere Akkulaufzeiten.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M: Schnelle Grafikkarte der Performance-Klasse aus der GeForce-GTX-900M-Baureihe.

Intel HD Graphics 520: Integrierte Grafikkarte (GT2), welche in einigen Skylake-CPUs (ULV-Modelle, 15 Watt TDP) verbaut wird.

NVIDIA GeForce 940MX: Notebook-Grafikkarte der Mittelklasse, die auf der Maxwell-Architektur basiert. Wird in 28 Nanometern gefertigt und verfügt über ein 64 Bit GDDR5/DDR3-Speicherinterface. Im Vergleich zur 940M kam die Unterstützung für GDDR5 hinzu.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile: Mittelklasse-Grafikkarte basierend auf Nvidias Pascal-Architektur und Nachfolger der GeForce GTX 965M. Wird im 14-nm-Prozess bei Samsung gefertigt und die technischen Daten entsprechen weitestgehend der Desktop-Version.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile: Mittelklasse-Grafikkarte basierend auf Nvidias Pascal-Architektur und Nachfolger der GeForce GTX 960M. Wird im 14-nm-Prozess bei Samsung gefertigt und die technischen Daten entsprechen weitestgehend der Desktop-Version.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Integrierte Grafikkarte (GT2-Ausbau, 24 EUs), welche in einigen Kaby-Lake-CPUs (Refresh, ULV-Modelle, 15 Watt TDP) verbaut wird. Technisch identisch zur HD Graphics 620 in den Kaby-Lake Modellen aus 2016.

NVIDIA GeForce MX130: Notebook-Grafikkarte der Mittelklasse, die auf der Maxwell-Architektur basiert. Wird in 28 Nanometern gefertigt und verfügt über ein 64 Bit GDDR5/DDR3-Speicherinterface. Umbenannte Geforce 940MX.

NVIDIA GeForce MX150: Pascal GP108 basierende Notebook-Grafikkarte und mobile Version der GT 1030. Bietet 384 Shader und meist 2 GB GDDR5 Grafikspeicher.

NVIDIA GeForce MX250: Umbenannte MX150 und damit weitherhin Pascal GP108 basierende Notebook-Grafikkarte und mobile Version der GT 1030. Bietet 384 Shader und meist 2 GB GDDR5 Grafikspeicher. Die Taktraten sind ev. etwas oberhalb der MX150 angesiedelt. Weiterhin als normale (25 Watt) und langsamere Stromsparvariante (10 Watt) erhältlich.

Intel Xe MAX: Dedizierte Mittelklasse-Grafikkarte von Intel basierend auf Gen 12 (wie die integrierte Grafik in den Tiger-Lake Prozessoren). Im Vergleich zu den integrierten Iris Xe, bietet die Max 4 GB dedizierten LPDDR4x Grafikspeicher und leicht höhere Taktraten (1,65 versus 1,35 GHz). Die Performance liegt leicht oberhalb der iGPU und auf dem Level einer GeForce MX350.

Diese Grafikkarten sollten alle modernen Spiele flüssig darstellen können. Anspruchsvolle Spiele müssen jedoch in mittlerer Detailstufe gespielt werden. Ältere und weniger anspruchsvolle Spiele wie die Sims Serie können auch in hohen Detailsstufen flüssig dargestellt werden.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q: High-End Notebook-Grafikkarte mit 6 GDDR5-Grafikspeicher und effiziente aber langsamere Variante der GTX 1060 für Laptops. Gedacht für dünne und leichte Gaming Laptops.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Mobile: Mid-Range Notebook-Grafikkarte basierend auf der Desktop GTX 1650 Ti mit Turing Architektur. Bietet keine Raytracing und Tensor-Kerne im Gegensatz zu den stärkeren RTX 2000 Modellen. Es sind anscheinend verschiedenste Versionen mit unterschiedlichen Taktraten und Spezifikationen erhältlich, die sich bei der Performance deutlich unterscheiden können.

i7-8565U: Auf der Whiskey Lake / Kaby-Lake-Architektur basierender ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für schlanke Notebooks und Ultrabooks. Integriert unter anderem vier CPU-Kerne mit 1,8 - 4,6 GHz und HyperThreading sowie eine Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik (14nm++ versus 14nm+ bei Kaby-Lake-R) gefertigt.

Intel Core i5:

6200U: Auf der Skylake-Architektur basierender ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für schlanke Notebooks und Ultrabooks. Integriert unter anderem zwei CPU-Kerne sowie eine Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt.

6300HQ: Auf der Skylake-Architektur basierender Quad-Core-Prozessor für Notebooks. Integriert neben den vier CPU-Kernen (kein Hyper-Threading) auch eine HD Graphics 530 Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt.

Intel Kaby Lake:

i7-7500U: Auf der Kaby-Lake-Architektur basierender ULV-SoC (System-on-a-Chip) für schlanke Notebooks und Ultrabooks. Integriert unter anderem zwei CPU-Kerne mit 2,7 - 3,5 GHz Taktfrequenz sowie eine HD Graphics 620 Grafikeinheit und wird in 14-Nanometer-Technik gefertigt.

i7-7700HQ: Auf der Kaby-Lake-Architektur basierender Quad-Core-Prozessor für Notebooks. Integriert neben den vier CPU-Kernen (inkl. Hyper-Threading) auch eine HD Graphics 630 Grafikeinheit und wird im verbesserten 14-Nanometer-Prozess gefertigt.

i5-7300HQ: Auf der Kaby-Lake-Architektur basierender Quad-Core Prozessor für größere Notebooks mit vier CPU Kernen und ohne HyperThreading welche mit 2,5 bis 3,5 GHz getaktet werden. Schwächster Quad-Core der Kaby Lake Generation Anfang 2017. Integriert eine Intel HD Graphics 630 GPU mit 350 - 1000 MHz und wird in 14 nm (verbessert im Vergleich zu Skylake) gefertigt.
