Intel Core 7 240H ► remove from comparison Der Intel Core 7 240H ist eine High-End-CPU auf Basis der Raptor Lake-H Refresh Serie (Alder-Lake-Architektur), die gegen Ende 2024 vorgestellt wurde. Die CPU basiert auf den Alder Lake-P Chip (für H und P-Serie) und bietet alle 6 Performance Kerne (P-Kerne, Golden Cove Architektur) und 4 der 8 Effizienzkerne (E-Kerne, Gracemont Architektur). Die P-Kerne unterstützten Hyperthreading (daher gemeinsam 16 Threads) und takten von 2,5 bis 5,2 GHz (Einzelkern-Turbo). Die E-Kerne takten von 1,8 - 4 GHz und sollen eine vergleichbare Performance wie alte Skylake Kerne bieten (z.B. i7-6700HQ ).
Der Intel Core 7 Prozessor 240H ist ein Refresh des Core i7-13620H , jedoch mit höherer Taktfrequenz (vor Allem Boost +300 MHz) und Support für DDR5-5600.
Performance
Durch die höhere Taktung, sollte sich der C7 240H etwas vom alten Core i7-13620H abheben können, bleibt aber hinter den 14-Kern-Modellen zurück (wie z.B. Core 7 250H ).
Grafikeinheit
Wie auch der Vorgänger, integriert Intel in Alder Lake eine Intel Xe basierende Grafikeinheit. Beim 240H sind nur 64 der 96 EUs aktiviert und takten mit bis zu 1,55 GHz.
Features
Wie auch Tiger Lake, hat auch Alder-Lake-P WiFi 6E und Thunderbolt 4 (4x) teilintegriert. Der integrierte Speicherkontroller unterstützt jetzt DDR5-5600 (im Vergleich zur 4800 MHz beim 12650H). Der integrierte Gaussian and Neural Accelerator (GNA) ist nun in Version 3.0 verbaut. Die Media Engine Quick Sync 8 ist die selbe wie in Rocket Lake und unterstützt MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1 Decode, JPEG, VP8 Decode, VP9, HEVC und AV1 Decode. Der Chip unterstützt PCIe 5.0 x8 für eine dGPU und zwei PCIe 4.0 x4 für SSDs. Der PCH bietet noch PCIe Gen3 x12.

Durch die höheren Taktraten der Rocket-Lake-Serie, kann der i7-13700H sich auf das Niveau des alten Core i9-12900H heben und gehört damit zu einer sehr schnellen mobilen CPU, die sich für alle Anwendungsbereiche hervorragend geeignet.
