Der Chip wird im 6 nm Prozess bei TSMC gefertigt und wurde Anfang 2023 vorgestellt. Im Vergleich zum älteren Ryzen 7 6800HS bietet der 7735HS einen 50 MHz höheren Turbo Takt und einen potenziell höheren TDP bis 54 Watt.
Die Rembrandt Refresh APUs bieten weiterhin Support für USB4 mit 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4 und DDR5-4800MT/s bzw. LPDDR5-6400MT/s.
Die Leistung des R7 7735HS sollte vergleichbar zum alten Ryzen 7 6800HS bzw. 6800H (je nach eingesetztem TDP) sein.
Die integrierte Grafikkarte namens Radeon 680M basiert auf die RDNA 2 Architektur und bietet 12 CUs mit bis zu 2,2 GHz Takt bietet.
Der TDP ist mit 35 bis 54 Watt spezifiziert, wodurch sich die CPU auch für dünnere Gaming-Notebooks eignet.

Im Vergleich zum Ryzen 7 4800H , bietet der Ryzen 9 4900H eine 200 MHz (+5%) höhere Turbo-Taktfrequenz und 400 MHz mehr Basistakt. Nach ersten Informationen ist der Geschwindigkeitszuwachs in Notebooks im Vergleich zum 4800H jedoch relativ gering. Hier limitiert wahrscheinlich bereits TDP und die Kühllösung. Im Vergleich zu Intels Mobilprozessoren, sollte der Ryzen 9 4900H sich in vergleichbaren Performanceregionen wie der 9980HK einordnen.

Damit würde sich die CPU zwischen dem Intel Core i9-9880H und 9980HK an der Spitze von mobilen Prozessoren einordnen. Damit eignet sie sich auch für anspruchsvolle Anforderungen sehr gut.
