AMD Turion II M520

Der AMD Turion II Ultra M520 ist ein Einstiegs Doppelkern Prozessor von AMD. Er basiert auf den Caspian getauften Kern, welcher wahrscheinlich (teilweise) auf die K10 Architektur basiert. Jedoch bietet er im Vergleich zu den Ultra CPUs nur 1MB shared Level 2 Cache. In dem Prozessor integriert ist ein DDR2 Speicherkontroller (400 MHz).

Die Performance des M520 befindet sich meistens nur auf Höhe eines 2 GHz Celeron Dual Core T3300 / Pentium T4200 mit Penryn Kern und ebenfalls 1MB Level 2 Cache. Manche Benchmarks zeigen jedoch sogar die Leistungsfähigkeit eines 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo.
