NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS SLI

Zwei NVIDIA Geforce Go 7900 GS Grafikkarten für Notebooks im SLI Verbund zeigen bei unterstützten Spielen einen deutlichen Leistungsschub und machen sie teilweise schneller als eine (einzelne) GTX Version. Die GS ist die keinere Version der 7900 GTX mit weniger Shader- und Vertexpipelines und lt Datenblatt auch merkbar weniger Stromverbrauch. Durch den zweimal so hohen Stromverbrauch als eine einzelne Grafikkarte ist die SLI Lösung nur in sehr grossen Notebooks einsetzbar.

Aktuelle DirectX 9 Spiele wie Far Cry, Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory, Oblivion, Call of Duty 2 oder Half Life 2 - Lost Coast sind mit hohen Details und Auflösungen einwandfrei spielbar. Antialiasing und Anisotrope Filter sind ausser bei Oblivion bei allen Spielen einstellbar (mit >30fps). DirectX 10 Effekte werden von der Hardware nicht unterstützt.
