Die NVIDIA Quadro M2000M ist eine DirectX-12 (FL 11_0) und OpenGL-4.5 fähige Mittelklasse-Workstation-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert wie die Consumer GeForce GTX 960M bzw 950M auf dem GM107-Chip der Maxwell-Serie und wird in 28nm bei TSMC hergestellt. Dadurch unterstützt sie im Gegensatz zu den stärkeren GM204-basierten Quadro Karten (M3000M, M4000M, M5000M) nur Feature Level 11_0 von DirectX 12. Die Grafikkarte ist für die Skylake-Generation gedacht und Nachfolgerin der Quadro K2100M (Kepler GK106). Es werden bis zu 4 GB GDDR5 als Grafikspeicher eingesetzt die mit 1.250 MHz (5.000 MHz effektiv) takten und über einen 128 Bit Speicherbus angebunden sind (80 vs 48 GB/s bei der K2100M). 

Die Quadro-Grafikkarten bieten zertifizierte Treiber, welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind. Dadurch ist die Performance im Vergleich zu den Consumergrafikkarten mit gleichem Chip in diesen Bereichen deutlich besser.

Leistung

In unseren Benchmarks positioniert sich die M2000M deutlich vor der Kepler-basierten Quadro K4100M und kann sogar fast zur alten K5100M aufschließen. Im 3D-Spielen ist die Leistung in etwa mit der technisch sehr ähnlichen GeForce GTX 960M vergleichbar. Spiele des Jahres 2015/2016 werden so in mittleren Einstellungen und WXGA- oder FullHD-Auflösung flüssig dargestellt.

Die Rechenkerne der Grafikkarte können per CUDA und OpenCL 1.2 auch für generelle Berechnungen herangezogen werden.

Leistungsaufnahme

Die Leistungsaufnahme der Quadro M2000M entspricht laut Nvidia der alten Quadro K2100M und liegt bei 55 Watt TGP (Max Power Consumption). Dadurch ist die Karte am besten für 15-Zoll-Notebooks geeignet.

Die NVIDIA Quadro M620 ist eine DirectX-12 (FL 11_0) und OpenGL-4.5 fähige Einstiegs-Workstation-Grafikkarte für Notebooks. Sie basiert wie die Consumer GeForce GTX 950M auf den GM107-Chip der Maxwell-Serie und wird in 28nm bei TSMC hergestellt. Sie ist die Nachfolgekarte der Quadro M600M und ähnelt der Quadro M1000M, jedoch mit weniger Grafikspeicher.

Die Quadro-Grafikkarten bieten zertifizierte Treiber, welche auf Stabiltität und Performance bei professionellen Anwendungen (CAD-, DCC-, Medizin-, Prospektions-, Visualisierungsanwendungen) optimiert sind. Dadurch ist die Performance im Vergleich zu den Consumergrafikkarten mit gleichem Chip in diesen Bereichen deutlich besser.

Leistung

Derzeit sind noch keine genauen Taktraten bekannt, jedoch sollte sich die Quadro M620 etwa unterhalb der älteren Quadro M1000M einordnen, die ebenfalls 512 Shader besitzt und einen 128 Bit Speicherbus. Die Taktraten der M620 könnten jedoch niedriger ausfallen.

In ersten SPECviewperf 12 Benchmarks ist die M1000M im Durchschnitt 9 % schneller als die neue M620.

Die Rechenkerne der Grafikkarte können per CUDA und OpenCL 1.2 auch für generelle Berechnungen herangezogen werden.

Leistungsaufnahme

Die Leistungsaufnahme der Quadro M620 entspricht laut Nvidia der alten Quadro K620M und liegt bei 30 Watt TGP (Max Power Consumption) bzw 21,2 Watt TDP. Dadurch ist die Karte auch für dünne und leichte Notebooks geeignet.
