Qualcomm Snapdragon 630
Der Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 (SDM630) ist ein Mittelklasse SoC für (Android basierende) Smartphones und Tablets. Er integriert 8 Prozessorkerne der ARM Cortex-A53 Architektur. Im Vergleich zum Snapdragon 626 , bietet der neue und schnellere Verbindungsmöglichkeiten (LTE, WLAN und Bluetooth). Das integrierte X12 LTE Modem unterstützt 4G mit bis zu 600 Mbps Download und 150 Mbps Upload. Weiters ist eine Adreno 508 Grafikkarte integriert mit Support für Vulkan und OpenGL ES 3.1. WLAN wir 802.11ac unterstützt und Bluetooth in der Version 5.0. Der Speicherkontroller unterstützt LPDDR4 mit 1333 MHz (Dual-Channel LPDDR4-2666).
Dank des modernen 14nm FinFET Herstellungsverfahrens, ist der SoC relativ genügsam und wahrscheinlich auch für kleinere Smartphones geeignet.
