Qualcomm SD 662

Der Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 ist ein SoC der unteren Mittelklasse für (Android basierende) Smartphones und Tablets. Die Prozessoreinheit beinhaltet 8 Kryo-260-CPU-Kerne (4x ARM Cortex-A73 mit bis zu 2 GHzund 4x ARM Cortex-A53 mit bis zu 1.8 GHz). Als Grafikeinheit kommt die Qualcomm Adreno 610 zum Einsatz

Das SoC kommt mit der dritten Generation von Qualcomms AI Engine und beinhaltet auch Bluetooth 5.1. Interessant ist, dass Qualcomm die WLAN-Fähigkeit als "WiFi-6-ready" bezeichnet, man kann sich also mit einem WiFi-6-Netzwerk verbinden, es werden aber wohl nicht alle Teile des Standards unterstützt. Das neue Sicherheitsprotokoll WPS3 ist nutzbar. Neu sind auch die Unterstützung für das Bild-Dateiformat HEIF und das indische Satellitennetzwerk NavIC.

Als LTE-Modem ist das Snapdragon X11 integriert, das im Uplink und Downlink LTE Cat.13 unterstützt, sowie 2x2 MIMO im Downlink. Die maximale Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit beträgt 390 MBit/s (Download) und 150 MBit/s (Upload).

In Sachen Massenspeicher wird maximal UFS 2.1 unterstützt, die Begrenzungen des Arbeitsspeicher liegen bei 32 GB und LP4x.

Das SoC wird im 11-nm-Verfahren hergestellt.
