ATI Mobility Radeon X2300

Die ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 ist die Nachfolgekarte der ATI Mobility Radeon X1350 für Notebooks, jedoch unterstützt sie keine DirectX 10 Effekte. Leistungsmäßig platziert sich die Grafikkarte in der Region der ATI Mobility Radeon X600 bzw NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300.

Diese Benchmarkwerte und die von ATI veröffentlichten technischen Daten unterstützen auch die Gerüchten, denen zufolge die X2300 nur eine umgelabelte X1300 / X1350 ist (um Namenskomplikationen mit der erscheinenden und deutlich langsameren Chipsatzgrafik X1250 zu verhindern).

Im Vergleich zur X1300 ist die X2300 etwas höher getaktet und ist dadurch auch minimal schneller. durch die geringe Anzahl an Pixel- und Vertexshader, reicht die Karte jedoch nur für anspruchslose Spiele (bzw zum Spielen in niedriger Qualität).

Derzeit gibt es 4 Chipsatzversionen der 2300er Serie verschiedene Versionen geben:

Mobility Radeon X2300 HD (M71-S 7211)

Nur die HD Versionen unterstützen ATIs UVD Technologie (Hardware Beschleunigung von HD-DVD, Blu-Ray (VC-1, H.264, MPEG-2)

Der X2300 Grafikprozesor ist zertifiziert für Windows Vista und unterstützt das Windows Aero Glass Interface.

Spieleleistung

Alle Tests sind ungefähre Benchmarkwerte (je nach eingesetzter CPU können sie stark abweichen) und wurden ohne Antialiasing (AA) und ohne Anisotrope Filter (AF) durchgeführt. Mit AA und AF waren moderne Spiele nicht spielbar (<20 fps).
